Our stay at this resort was very good! The staff was all very friendly and it felt like home there! The food was amazing and had a lot of variety for whatever you were feeling. The beach was pretty quiet since it is a few minutes outside of town. Beautiful views from the balcony! The resort offered water aerobics and kayaking during the day and has a sky bar for night. The sky bar was very relaxing during the day with hot tubs and fun at night with karaoke! This resort was a good choice for us since it is quiet, yet still pretty close to town. It is a lot more relaxing without kids there.

This hotel has a nice secluded location right on the beach. The area is beautiful and overall we enjoyed our time there. However, there were great things and not so great things about the resort.

Positives:
The service from the pool area to the concierge was great. Most of the employees there were genuinely friendly and very helpful. Omar at the pool is your guy to get great friendly service. Marco, our concierge was great in providing extra attention to our group during our stay to make it feel extra special.

The food was another positive. It was overall very good. The Asian restaurant was great for sushi. For a little extra cost splurge and get the sushi platter. It was amazing. Most of the dinner places were top notch.

Negatives:
We booked rooms with a jacuzzi, but were informed at check-in that they were not available due to construction. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time so we wouldn't be disappointed. They "upgraded" us to a suite, but that's where things went severely wrong. They put our entire group on different floors right next to the sky lounge night club. Our friends in 925 got the worst of it because they overlooked the night club that goes until 1am. Loud base music just goes right through the walls and makes for a very unpleasant sleeping experience. We all ended up moving to different rooms away on the other side. This helped the noise drastically, but the entire hotel rooms all need a drastic makeover and repairs. We had things like no smoke detectors, musty/mold like smells, uncleaned floors, leaky pipes, broken doors, on and on. It was pretty disappointing for what looks great in photos. The "upgrade" seemed like a bait and switch.

Only two pools for a resort this size was also a little disappointing. A common complaint is that the sun doesn't get to the pool area this time of year until the middle of the afternoon.

Housekeeping is terrible. They don't vacuum at all, even after someone checks out. Missing towels and refrigerator not restocked were a common issue with our group.

Overall, if you're looking for a party type resort and don't care too much about the rooms, then this might be for you. If you like a little more quiet, relaxation and cleanliness then this resort is not for you.
