“An amazing vacation in a perfect spot”

This was the first time we rented a house for our what has turned out to be our sun seeking winter holidays. My mom and 3 daughters in their 20s took the leap to Casa Niche for 15 blissful days in Mexico. We have just returned from our Christmas and New Years trip. I knew I had to share how sweet this rental is. #1 is location. I honestly could not imagine any place in the whole town that is in a better spot. When you are sitting on one of the two balconies it is like being on the sand. Talk about watching and listening the to the waves. One bedroom you can see the waves from your pillows and the upper bedroom has double French doors to an ocean front private balcony.steps from my bed. My girls did some serious sunbathing there. I stepped out for wave watching at all hours in my PJs..The beach is on the most perfect stretch of the bay with anything you could possibly need a walk away. We did not need a car. A few blocks up is Mangos beech club where you can paddle board, kayak, and lay on elegant canopy beds for the price of a drink. They also have jet skis and parasailing. Very entertaining to take pictures of your family fly by. The Malacon is like a resort boardwalk with an artsy flair. There are fantastic sculptures every block. This cool spot to eat, shop, experience performance art and stroll begins about 1/2 a block down. The private dipping pool is beautifully maintained as well as the whole House. Our maid, Martha kept the place together elegantly and so well I wanted to bring her home. There is always a giant pure water dispenser and as many clean towels as you could ever use. This unique villa is a work of art in itself with beautifully carved wood furniture pieces, sculpture and stained glass everywhere. Just being there lifts your spirits and we seemed to smile the whole time. The super nice property manager Joel, is a fast phone call away, and even the owner, John emailed us a Merry Christmas and asked to let him know if we needed anything several times. I can't wait to go back.

“Prime Location at The Paradise”

We stood at Casa Nicte in Puerto Vallarta from September 13th to 17th. It was a wonderful family reunion from members coming from Mexico, USA and Asia.
No doubt Vallarta is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and charming places in the Mexican Riviera. We´ll be back any time.
Casa Nicte, is a charming property placed right on the beach in Old Vallarta down town, where all the action is. The owner is very nice and ready to respond to any inconvenience you may have, but as many others house renters who live abroad it should not be easy be aware about the condition of their property at the time of rental.
The house needs maintenance urgently. The roof leaks all over the house and the upper bathroom stinks.
Housekeeping is poor. When we arrived some bed sheets were dirty, there were not enough body or dish soap, no phone and no stereo, but as soon as we let John, who is one of the owners, know our concerns he made the administrator to correct all failures immediately.

We appreciate feedback from guests, and always want to provide guests with the best accommodations and experience. That's our goal.

There had been heavy, constant rains in Puerto Vallarta prior to Roger coming (it was the rainy season), which revealed some leaks in the bar-tile roof. Unfortunately they weren't discovered before he came. We immediately fixed them, as Roger attested. We're assuming this was the urgent maintenance Roger mentioned. This has been corrected and the house is 100% fine.

An odor in the bathroom wasn't mentioned during Roger's stay. It's not there now. Possibly it was from the heavy rains. The roof has been repaired. A guest just stayed 5 days and was very happy.

Our Manager, Joel, immediately addressed the other items and bought a new stereo (the prior one was getting old), while the phone was always there.

In some 11 years of renting out the villa, we've never had a single complaint about housekeeping. Guests usually very much like Marta, our maid, and her work (please see review from July 2013). The bedding was clean, but apparently Marta had overlooked a stain, and we bought new sheets. Marta cleanse 6 days a week/ year-round, so we feel our housekeeping is more than excellent.

Joel was Guest Manager and Concierge at the Four Seasons Resort, in Punta Mita, a 5-star, exclusive hotel near Puerto Vallarta. He understands how to keep guests happy, and that's certainly our goal.

We know you are going on vacation to relax in "paradise," and we want to make sure you have the best experience possible.

We immediately addressed every issue Roger brought up and he left happy. He emailed me that he would return.

“We loved Casa Nicte!!!!”

This house is great!!! Perfectly located on the beach and just a few feet from the Malecon. Tons of restaurants, bars, shopping and everything else. It's not near all of the super touristy high rise hotels. The Malecon is hopping at night but you can't hear any of it at the house. Some other reviewers said people would party on the beach right out front, but that didn't happen during our stay. Marta, the housekeeper, was the best, she helped us get a fishing charter and told us a few great restaurants in the neighborhood to go to. The place has a lot of stairs, so if that is a problem for you then this is not your place. We absolutely loved our stay and would stay here again. Thanks so much.

Thank you so much Eva for your very nice review. We certainly loved having you as a guest and you were a delight to deal with! You're welcome back any time! Thank you for staying with us!

Here is a (rough!) translation of your review for our English speaking friends:

It was the best decision that I could take the house. It's perfect, near everything -- restaurants, clubs etc. I was enchanted. My next trip to Puerto Vallarta, I definitively would rent Casa Nicte. John, the owner, gave excellent service and is very amiable, Martha the one that cleans the house is very helpful. I left fascinated!
