Spent 5 days at this lovely resort. It was quiet and beautiful with a great pool, gorgeous private beach and great staff. The rooms are a little antiquated but were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Most guests are older which my husband and I enjoyed because we were there to relax not to party. All of the staff were attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed the wildlife that we observed, the beautiful birds and iguanas. Overall it was a fun and relaxing experience and I will definitely stay here again on my next huatulco visit.

This place is really relaxing. Spring Breakers not welcome just fyi . if you like to party this is not the place for you. This place is great and with Private pools when available makes all worth it. Got sick on our last day from the hotel but this is the first time this has happen at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in lush garden and beachfront setting. Rooms are spacious and bright, but very dated. Good location. Friendly staff. Downsides were lack of sufficient restaurants, snack shop. Breakfast buffets were tasty and unique, but staff were often overwhelmed by the hungry morning crowds, with dirty tabletops and slow to refill empty buffet choices. Very much appreciated the quiet- absence of loud night time music/blaring entertainment was a pleasure.

Room tip: Beachfront rooms with personal plunge pools are terrific .

We returned once again to this wonderful jewel, and were no disappointed. The longterm staff are absolutely amazing. Going above and beyond again and again for everyone we saw. There is a great mix of multi return guests we see every year, and people experiencing this resort for the first time. Super friendly and welcoming to all. This is not a new, flashy resort. More like a super chill happy place. Think of it like putting on an older, favorite shirt. Showing its age, but still the best, most comfy thing you can think of. We even met people from Cancun who chose to vacation there this year. The palm trees/ flamingos will be back again. We cannot wait to get back to this resort again proxima ano.

Every year with our friends we make a fun trip. This year we decided to go to Huatulco and choose the Camino Real Zaashila. This hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious clean and white. The hotel is very beautiful the beach is great the views are amazing. The reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars is the food. The hotels food is super terrible they serve every evening the same thing it doesn’t vary. It has pozole, tlayudas, beans and rice every day. They tell you they have a salad bar but it’s lettuce and vinegar Every night horrible food it’s not even a little good it is very bad quality. It is expensive for Mexico, last night we paid 800 pesos for crappy food and a lemonade
The breakfast buffet is just as awful for the same price . They don’t even have good coffee. I feel a little bad because the employees a really nice they need help in the restaurant department!!!!! Camino Real should invest in this department !!!! The food is really really bad .
They could also open a small coffee shop that would help them a lot!!! Hope this was helpfull
