We stayed at The Camino Real Zaashila the first week in February and absolutely loved it. We did our due diligence and researched all the hotels in the area and felt this hotel best suited the experience we hoped for. First of all if you are looking for an action packed, loud music, all day entertainment filled boisterous holiday with big American style buffets you better stop reading now. If you are looking for a very romantic, peaceful, tranquil place with other quiet guests (mostly adults) and enjoy the sound of tropical birds and ocean waves crashing plus fine sea side dining with lots of Oaxaca dishes and seafood options then this might be heaven for you and keep reading. This is a beautiful Mediterranean style beachfront property designed by renowned architect Javier Sordo Madaleno and has only 151 rooms so everything is absolutely gorgeous and super easy to get around. We loved the elevation of the property and the views from the hotel. Things we loved about this place : -short drive from the airport and nice small airport so no long lines waiting. - easy check-in and good customer service prior to arrival -all rooms appear to be ocean view - bright, spacious, clean rooms with updated bedding -strong air conditioning had no trouble keeping up in the heat - double vanities in washroom and lots of plush white towels and toiletries -good functioning safe and fridge withdrinks...More
