My sister, 4-year-old niece and I had a fabulous stay in Panan Resort for 4 days. The friendly and always smiling staffs truly made our day. One staff that really stood out to us was Best. Despite our whirlpool room going through some maintenance, we were given another deluxe room (which I love!) and a 3 course dinner covered by Panan for the first night. He was always asking us how’s our day coming along, how’s the room, how’s the stay. It’s is wonderful how the staffs here are really passionate about what they do.

Our whirlpool room had 2 blackouts and the aircon was centralised hence we had to call the front desk to help us change it. The staffs are extremely accommodating and always there to assist us. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet too, the menu changes daily for most of the main course like rice and noodles and the dishes provided. They’re all good food! Messi who serve us at breakfast was lovely, and answering questions we had about Thai food.

We felt extremely welcome in Panan and we love how the staffs are always ready to assist (be it with room issues or heavy shopping bags). We will definitely be returning to Panan Krabi Resort and recommending it to our friends who are going to visit Krabi!

Just one negative about this place. Its a little noisy due to large family occupants. But if you're the kind to roam out all day and only get in at night again, then its ideal.
Rooms are very comfortable, and the service staff very affable at all times.
There are the rooms with their private pools but they are not at all private from the other room occupants on the higher floors.
never ate in te restaurant besides breakfast which was also quite average.
But a value for money place.
The absolute plus point about the hotel is the location and the design. Brilliant architecture, right from the entrance to the poolside area. the bar within the pool is also brilliant. i just wish it was not hat noisy.

Room tip: Higher the floor, better the privacy

If it weren't for the staffs, I would rate this hotel slightly lower. The hotel management should look into how the room doors are working as for our room(the corner room at 7th floor) had issues with closing doors. As a 4 star hotel, this should not happen. The pool is great and is a very family friendly resort. Breakfast is not so great for those who like asian food as the variety of dishes are quite poor as well as the taste. We would expect a little higher standard and nicer taste for the food. Bacon is also only available by request and very dry and hard.
But overall, the staffs are really friendly, helpful as well as speak very good English.
Location is in a great place too so you can get around very easily.

Is a good hotel, not great for 4 stars. I was there for 3 nights and the hotel is good but are some troubles. The room clearly was finished poorly, dry silicone pouring from the mirror in the bathroom, still some loose mosaics, the room sometimes created a lot of humidity with no aparent reason, even the staff couldn't get it. It's not well prepared for a storm. We get one and the light were always getting down, it was impossible to communicate with the service room, the emergency stairs were without any light, in the end we were trying to sleep and the lights were turning on.
The staff is really joyful and caring. The pool is great with the bar in it and the pool in the room is great for the end of the day. The rooms are good but could be cleaner. Regarding the restaurant the breakfast is really good. Although is quite annoying have a staff member asking if you want coffee every 15min. The dinner is pour and the service at night a nightmare. Takes always too long. In the night of the storm we asked for food in the room and they weren't able to understand that we weren't answering the phone because there weren't lines. In the end I went to the restaurant to take the food that was late for 1h:30min.
For a 4 start hotel must improve some aspects, but is a nice option.

Of course we love to hear the positive comments about our staff and that in general all was according to your liking except a few issues which we will investigate and make further improvements. Regarding the lights, yes we had heavy rain storms and all Aonang area the electric was cut off again and again. However, we do have a generator back up and that might have been the reason why the light was turning on again as back up.

Amazing stay, absolutely stunning hotel and great service, will stay here again. I had a great arrival experience, even at the beginning there was a misunderstanding, with our booking, they missed to set up an extra bed. They called the manager land oliver came up, seemed to had and accident, however, solved our problem within minutes. Since we travel a lot, we appreciate attentiveness and care, so I will recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks panan.
