Beautiful setting for this restaurant, although you do need a car, the road is steep and narrow. We were greeted by a man (owner I think) The restaurant is beautiful but we felt a bit lonesome, a bit of music would have helped.
Our 1st course was a roulade of cheese n tomato, 2nd was a pasta dish of sausage n red lettuce, 3rd was a selection of 2 cheeses, torta fritta with pancetta, prosciutto and salad. White wine was included in the price.
The meal was lovely, I couldn't fault it but I found it quite expensive due to no real cooking except for the pasta.

Thank Heather S

A group of six friends went for dinner here for the first time as we saw it had been given the highest rating of 5 on trip advisor. The place is in a beautiful setting on the side a mountain and the evening was warm. We were directed indoors to eat in a lovely room but would have preferred to sit outside (not available). We were the only diners there and it felt very quiet. Would have benefitted from some music and sympathetic lighting to create a bit of atmosphere. The food was good but I did not rate the service as the man involved(owner?) treated us in an offhand way. I was not keen on the house wine either. Our main course consisted of torta fritta (fried pasta), and cured ham which most restaurants in the area would serve as a starter so seemed a bit odd. I did, however, enjoy the pasta dish definitely the best part of the meal. Unfortunately the experience of eating here did not live up to expectations

So much off the beaten track in a scenic mountain setting we enjoyed a delicious, very informal dinner with many kinds of top class, homemade antipasti, pasta and dessert, and with a super nice (but mainly Italian speaking!) couple doing all the cooking and serving. All inclusive very moderate pricing (32€/person).
