“Beautiful quaint thatched cottage, full of character”
Reviewed 20 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We very much enjoyed the experience of staying in this lovely quaint thatched cottage. Because of the age and character of the cottage, the ceilings were very low and the property had limited natural light, but the owners had provided plenty of alternative lighting. It was comfortable and well equipped. The only thing I would have liked to have had available which is not in the property is a dishwasher. Paul, the owner was very friendly and offered good communication and information. The cottage is well situated in close walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. A lovely cottage for a special treat.

“A lovely cottage with lots of character”
Reviewed 29 June 2016 for a stay in May 2015

The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, not only giving lots of information on the cottage but also local events.

The cottage its self was lovely, with lots of little touches to make it homey. It is well equipped and very comfortable, would defiantly recommend.

“Gem of a cottage”
Reviewed 8 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

What an amazing find. Tucked away on a side street in Whittlesey this gem of a cottage is deceptively large inside. Everything you need for a holiday is there. Well equipped kitchen with a washing machine, microwave, full size oven and hob and a fridge freezer. The bathroom has a large bath with a shower over it. Along a corridor you come to a lovely quaint lounge with two settee's tv, table and chairs. A door leads to the second bedroom which has a sofa bed and hanging space for clothes.
The stairs lead to a galleried bedroom with a double bed, bedside cupboards, dressing table and a chair. The wardrobe is in a room off the bedroom with the cutest door!
We were greeted with milk in the fridge, a bottle of wine, biscuits and as it was Good Friday there were two chocolate animals on sticks.
Excellent wi-fi and a digital radio in the kitchen. The tv has free view.
There is a lovely garden with a sitting area and a table and chairs on the lawn unfortunately it was to cold to make use of them. Lots of bright spring flowers in bloom.
I can't really think of more words to describe this lovely cottage, we had nine amazing nights there.
Try it for yourselves, you won't be disappointed.
