“An enjoyable stay in a lovely apartment”
Reviewed 16 October 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We enjoyed our two week stay at Angmering Court which is well equipped and convenient for the beach, local shops and Angmering train station.

There was enough room for our son and family and daughter to come and stay with us for a few days each which was lovely.

We hope to be able to stay again.

“Nice spacious Apartment by the Sea”
Reviewed 20 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Too much to say, so really it is like your house with everything inside it that you need or can think off ! Short walk to the beach or local village restaurants. We used it as a base to drive to Worthing,Lewes,Littlehampton etc.An ideal quiet holiday and definitely recommended, comes with a friendly welcome from the owner. Oh and Free Parking !

“Very comfortable, clean, spacious accommodation”
Reviewed 29 May 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We had a brief stay in March with our teenage son who loved having his own area with TV and separate bathroom. Whilst we did not spend much time in the property we found the accommodation well thought out, very clean and comfortable. The owner, Angela, is extremely pleasant, very helpful and welcoming. She met us on arrival and gave us a detailed tour of the property which was beautifully presented. A detailed folder contains everything required for local information on top of the instruction manuals for appliances in the property. Allocated off-road parking at the rear of the property is easy to find and well signed.
The apartment being on the 1st floor is in a quiet residential area and has several configurations to suit a variety of bookings but remains a spacious, airy and light property within easy walking distance of the local shops offering an array of takeaways, pub and newsagents.
I would recommend the property to couples, but is equally suitable for small families.

“Highly Recommended”
Reviewed 24 February 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We (3 adults) spent a very comfortable and enjoyable week during December at this apartment when we came to visit relations who live close by.

Angela (the owner) met us at the flat and provided lots of information about where things were stored, how they worked and what we should do in case of emergencies. There was also a very informative large ring binder full of information about the flat including instruction leaflets for all the appliances; telephone numbers which may be useful e.g. doctors; information about local towns/locations to visit, restaurants, cafes, etc.

The kitchen is very large and light as the sun shines in almost all day. There is a table with seating for 4, coffee table, a wardrobe (recessed in an alcove) and a large very comfortable bench seat which is also a single bed. There is also a portable TV, dishwasher and just about every appliance you would require while on holiday. The apartment was well stocked with cleaning solutions e.g. washing up liquid, etc.

The main bedroom has an en suite (toilet, wash basin and shower) as well as a large set of 6 draws and bedside table. The wardrobe is within the main lounge (adjacent to the bedroom). There is also a separate bathroom (toilet, wash basin and bath) with an alcove containing a washing machine with shelves above it (e.g. for storing towels, swimsuits, etc) just off the hallway.

The lounge has a 2-seater bed settee, 2 other chairs a number of coffee tables and a portable TV. There were a large number of books and magazines available for use during your stay.

Parking is at the rear of the property (off-road in a private parking area for all the residents who live at the property).

It’s a few minutes’ walk to the local newsagents, hairdresser, takeaways, cafés, pubs and, of course, the sea. There is a large shopping centre about 10 minutes’ walk away (Post Office, doctors, railway station) and a 5 minute drive to a very large Sainsbury’s (other large supermarkets are also a short drive away).

We were very comfortable in the apartment and found it in a nice, quiet, residential area. We would highly recommend this apartment.

“The most wonderful vacation we have ever experienced”
Reviewed 22 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

My wife and I have just recently returned from three glorious weeks in West Sussex England. We had traveled to England to visit my mother, sister and her family that live near East Preston. It was my wife's first time to meet my family in England and I had not been there since 2008. During my last visit to West Sussex I was fortunate to discover the wonderful seaside village of East Preston. I told my wife Karen that when we went to see my family we should try to stay in East Preston. We began our search for a vacation rental on Tripadvisor and there was Angmering Court. I contacted the owner Angela Gilmour, who was accommodating in every detail. My sister and mother visited before our arrival and told us the apartment was lovely. Yes lovely, very clean, modern and lots of space. Plus wonderful neighbors, a beautiful garden, so quite and peaceful that you can hear the sea waves a few hundred yards away. The village center is a ten minute walk with great food such as Reema Indian curry, Penang Village oriental and the Clockhouse Bar which is in our opinion the very best Bar/Pub, owner and staff in England, plus they make great pizza. The seaside is just a ten minute walk from Angmering Court as well. Also you are just a short train ride to historic Arundel with its amazing castle with tours and beautiful Arundel Cathedral. Plus great food and shops. You are also only a short train ride to Worthing and historic Brighton. What else could I say lots but I will refrain for now except a Big Thank You to Angela Gilmour for Angmering Court and you hospitality. Also to all our family, our new friends in East Preston and to the wonderful people of England for sharing your country with us and helping to give us the most wonderful vacation ever! Jon and Karen Ellis
