Outstanding wedding reception.

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 27 Sept 2024
Amazing experience at Leeford place hotel.
We chose to have our wedding reception here after a lot of friends and family (including our photographer!) had recommended it.

From start to finish Nikki and the team worked tirelessly to make our special day amazing.

The food was superb, catered for our coeliac guests, bridal suite was stunning, disco and first dance, just no stress for us at all.

Highly recommend and thank you for helping us create wonderful memories which we shall cherish forever x

We stayed at this hotel after staying at another one which didn't suit us.
I'm.so pleased we decided to move.we were made to feel very welcome, had a good breakfast each morning. The setting of hotel is awesome and it suited our requirements perfectly. Only wish we would be able to visit again. We would like to wish all staff every best wishes for your future

Had another great stay at Leeford Place Hotel. We had a very comfortable room that overlooked the front of the hotel which was lovely and peaceful. Very helpful staff (thank you to Walter, Nicki and Kim who are always so welcoming).
We also had the pleasure to meet the hotel owner and his family while we were there - such a lovely family!

It was exactly the relaxing getaway we needed. Thanks to all once again!

Lovely clean spacious room. Huge walk in shower! Beautiful hotel, full of character and charm. Fantastic, friendly atmosphere, hard working staff, stunning surroundings and a great breakfast! Wished we'd had the opportunity to visit sooner.

We had a lovely stay at Leeford Place hotel. It’s in a great location, with beautiful grounds (which our room looked out onto). The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast too. Would definitely recommend.

DON’T GO THERE.
Faulty Towers, an abandoned hotel, Bates Hotel…!?
Terrible decor. Incredibly noisy. One man at the reception so unhelpful it was a joke. Walls as thin as paper. Farm next door with an hurling dog (must day and night) and a cockerel from 4am.

What a very interesting review to have been left on our page. We are a Country house hotel - we are in the country (just as the description suggests) and have a neighbouring farm, with rural properties opposite and further up the lane. The cockerel and dog live at one of the houses on the opposite side of the lane, the farm has many animals such as chickens, sheep and cows. Perhaps a stay in Battle High Street would have been preferable with the noise from the traffic. On the night in question, there were 7 other occupied rooms, who all enjoyed their stay with us. We are not an abandoned hotel, we merely did not have a function taking place when you stayed. All our rooms are clean and comfortable and are reasonably priced for a 2* hotel, if 5* decor and amenities are required then we would recommend that guests choose an alternative hotel with a 5* listing, together with their 5* room costs. Our staff are very helpful and will assist all guests with reasonable requests, as our other reviews evidence.
