“The perfect location for a quiet getaway in the heart of Morayshire”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

An extremely well appointed modernised but traditional cottage off the beaten track but near enough to all the areas of interest and civilisation when you need it. A forest on the doorstep for those with dogs on holiday too. Maureen had anticipated every need from binoculars to chiminea and a hammock! Excellent dark skies for those with an astronomy bent. Will certainly use again in future and highly recommend to family and friends

“Once again, a lovely holiday cottage”
Reviewed 31 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Once again, we haven't been disappointed in either the setting, the cottage or the lovely warm welcome from Maureen and her husband. A well equipped, out of the way cottage with beautiful views of open countryside and a forrest on your doorstep and yet within a short drive to a supermarket, the coast and many highland tourist destinations. We can't wait to come back and even Brian Thewonderdog agreed it was worth the long journey from Milton Keynes to get there.

“excellent value for money”

Just had a fabulous two weeks at the Blair. Maureen could not be there on arrival but came to see us as soon as she got back.Made us feel very welcome and felt nothing would be too much trouble but there was nothing we needed as everything we could possibly need was there. There was a more than adequate welcome pack a really nice touch. The property was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. The location was lovely and peaceful but within easy reach of shops(Buckie only 3 mile away) and walks in the nearby forests. All in all the best cottage we have stayed in.

Im so pleased you enjoyed your stay at The Blair and found everything satisfactory. Glad you liked the TV. My son insisted on it on the grounds that you deserve a decent size telly when you are on holiday and not sitting a few feet away peering at a 12 inch screen!! It was nice to meet you both and that very lucky little doggie. Hope to see you again at The Blair.
