“Just lovely.”
Reviewed 17 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

A really lovely holiday cottage which has been appointed with real detail to provide guests with touches of luxury.
Lovely and cosy, with the best shower we have ever experienced!
The bed was so comfortable that we had to find out the manufacturer!
A lovely base to walk our border terrorists, one who was equally content in his holiday bed too!
Just a lovely place to stay, unwind and relax.
We managed a sunny afternoon drink watching the birds nesting in the dog proof garden.....
Totally lovely stay...Thanks!

Congratulations Myles & Sally, you've certainly got a cracker!

“Really comfortable cottage in great location”

Good to find such a comfortable cottage in one of our favourite Northumberland villages available for a long weekend and also welcoming our spaniel.
Beautiful winter sunshine bathed the lounge/ dining area every morning and the log burner kept us cosy in the evening. Delighted that the owners haven't attempted to squeeze more beds in. The cottage only sleeps two, but the lounge and bedroom are really spacious and the bed is luxurious. We slept like logs! We would definitely re book. One suggestion, which I hope may be helpful, would be to add a cupboard into the dining area to store table ware, freeing up storage in the kitchen for food.
Highly recommended!

“Lovely luxury break”

My mother and I have just returned from a lovely two night stay at West End Cottage with our dog. Myles (the owner) was very helpful and knowledgable in recommending places to eat and walks in the local area. The cottage itself was luxurious and had all of the modern amenities but kept its cosy and warm ambiance throughout. Extra touches like a dog bowl and rug, spices and herbs and cling film and kitchen foil were also much appreciated.

I would not hesitate to recommend Myles and this lovely cottage to all of my family and friends!
