“home from home”
Reviewed 1 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Stayed at this Lodge for a long weekend and wished we could have stayed longer. We had lovely weather so able to take advantage of the wonderful large enclosed gardens, our dog loved all the toys that were available and the nearby beach walks. The lodge is spotlessly clean and the owners have thought of everything, all the little extra touches of wine, milk, shortbread and even treats for the dog was really appreciated. We will certainly go back and have already recommended to family and friends.

Very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the lodge. Very suitable garden for dogs being all fenced in and so close to the beach. Unfortunately we have no control over the weather, fingers crossed for sunshine when you are able to visit us again.

“An absolute delight”
Reviewed 1 June 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We had the privilege of being the first visitors to this new rental property and what a delightful place it was. There was a lovely welcome pack with everything you needed to start your stay in fine style. Everything is on one level so it is ideal for those with mobility problems and the main bathroom has a shower seat and grab rail. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of utensils and crockery. The lounge is very comfortable and the views of the Solway estuary and the Lake District from the sunroom are fantastic. There is a large enclosed garden where both dogs and children can play in complete safety. The beach is literally a two minute walk away. There is a nice pub a short walk away that serves meals at reasonable prices and also a local shop to buy those little things you forgot to bring!! Thank you Yvonne and Dale for making our stay a memorable one. We will definitely be returning in the future.
