“Spacious and welcoming house”
Reviewed 5 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We had a very pleasant short break at the beginning of April in this warm and comfortable house with a lovely outside sitting area. Muscovy has everything you need - a real home from home with a very large lounge (and huge TV!) for relaxing at the of the day. Coldingham has a PO, butchers, shop and pub close by and the pretty beach is a couple of minutes away by car or an easy walk downhill, (not as easy walking up again, of course!)
Susie lives opposite and is happy to help in any way.

“Excellent location for the amenities of Coldingham and surrounding area”
Reviewed 13 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

A group of six friends stayed 3 days for a wedding in Coldingham. The cottage is so well equipped, spacious and beautifully clean which made it a real home from home. The garden seating area provided another spacious area for enjoying the excellent weather!
Its position within the village was ideal for the wedding location (Coldingham Priory) and the reception at the Village Hall. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

“Superb holiday cottage”
Reviewed 8 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Fantastically clean, full of useful little homely touches that you don't normally find (eg cling film, kitchen roll, salt & pepper, air freshners, fully stocked bookshelf, torch etc). Very spacious living/dining room. Cosy, comfortable and an excellent base for visiting the borders. Owners live in the village and are always available to help in any way. We've stayed here every year for the last ten years and plan to continue for a long time yet.

this was a a very comfortable house, ideally suited to our group which included our 94 year old mum.she was able to take the en suite bedroom, all accomodations wereon the ground floor, and the patio area was lovely...and due to the mild weather, well used! we would certainly return, we had a lovely break. ann mcgee.

Liked best: such a comfortable house in a beautiful area.
Liked least: 2nd double bedroom was perhaps a wee bit small, but there was enough hanging and drawer space, and the bed was very comfortable.

This was our second stay at Muscovy House, we also spent a week here last summer. The house is modern, spacious, clean and very well equipped. It is ideally situated for the beautiful beach at Coldingham and for exploring St Abbs, Eyemouth and into England. My children loved the house and the nearby play park. There is a private patio garden which is a great sun trap and ideal for a BBQ. For the colder months there is a log burning stove which makes the house very cosy. The owner, Susie is very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
