Description: At The Cambrian Inn you will find the best of both world’s, a welcoming relaxed lounge bar and the simple yet stylish main dining room. The lounge bar with its relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink, or if you are not heading for the main dining room, you can just sit back and relax in one of the comfy chesterfields, enjoy your drink, order some snacks or delve into our wonderful bar menu, available every lunch and evening. With dishes like our Pembrokeshire Wagyu beef burger using the finest meat reared in the county and a selection of fresh fish caught daily by Solva fishermen you can get a true taste of Pembrokeshire. The main dining room, with it’s exposed stonework, original pitch pine beams and contemporary furnishings provides the perfect environment for you and your party to enjoy your selection of dishes and wines that have been carefully put together by the resident Head Chef, Matthew Cox and his team. We like to feel we cater for all, with a wide selection of meat, poultry, fish, game and of course vegetarian dishes using only the best local produce wherever possible. Matthew’s menus reflect his simple yet sophisticated approach, which relies on the quality of the ingredients to speak for themselves.

Very much enjoyed our weekday evening meal here whilst staying in the same village. Exceptionally tasty duck terrine starter (so good I felt moved to send compliments to the kitchen!) followed by a very good steak "pie". Pie in double quotes as it was in truth an enamel dish with a very tasty steak and ale filling (I'm not always entirely happy with meat and ale pie flavour but this was excellent) and a very good suet pastry lid served with excellent chips. Whilst I usually prefer a full pastry case I'll excuse this pie as the taste made up for that! Service was professional, friendly and helpful. We had a second, this time weekend evening, visit. Again very good quality and tasty burgers but very busy - strongly recommend booking. Service again very good.

We had a lovely lunch here after walking to Solva from St David’s via the coast path. Panini and fries, lovely. The interior is well cared for as are the facilities. Good service and welcomed our little dog at lunchtime which was appreciated.

Four of us ate here one evening and we all enjoyed the food immensely. Attentive staff. A bit quiet on a Tuesday night but season hasn't started yet.

To the proprietor,
Rename your business as restaurant as you are not an inn ! There was nowhere to sit inside and had to resort to sitting outside ! Never again !
