If you care about covid don't stay here. Lovely decorated rooms. 2 food places no beach. Downtown is pretty much deserted. Staff don't wear masks or wear them appropriately even when talking to customers. The pool is 3 and. Half feet deep. Everything was supposed to open yesterday. We we told a couple days before that the opening was delayed. It seems like it is located on a harbor downtown.I won't return and don't recommend it. I like the beach and covid safe practices. This hotel doesn't have either. The decor in the room and the beds Re the best features.

Room tip: Go to a resort with a real beach

The only “good” thing about this place was the staff. With the opening set for July 15, 2021 there is now way this resort will be ready. We understand the issues with covid, the depressed local economy and construction delays but there are literally no services available to patrons. The only on sight restaurant (JWB) is closed until 5pm when the bakery closes and JWB was closed on our last night requiring a taxi ride to Paradise island for a decent meal. Expect an order of “bar food” for two to run in excess of $100+ with most meat and limited seafood entrees over $100 each. The water attractions were limited to an infinity pool and jacuzzi (no waterfalls, lazy river, surf trainer, etc). The rooms were nice and COLD! But daily maid service was only available by appointment and the extra charge was $45 per visit. Alas, there was no bar service available until JWB opens… no Margaritas in Margaritaville!

Room tip: Booking directly with the hotel instead of thru Kayak would have saved us around $200/day. Wait to book until the rest of the resort opens.

If I could leave a negative review of this place I would. Nothing is open, not the lazy river, none of the restaurants bar one, you can’t even get a Margarita to sit by the pool, unless you go to the Hilton to purchase it and bring back - do yourselves a favor and stay there don’t waste your money on this place. The coffee shop sells crazy priced and dreadful food and the reception doesn’t even stock maps so you can figure out the area!!! The rooms are basic but nicely appointed with a washing machine and fridge which is nice. But if if you plan on eating or having a Margarita by the pool go elsewhere, they can’t even offer soy milk for coffee tough if you have a dairy allergy.

My biggest issue is the music that plays everywhere 24/7. And loud at most times. Try sitting in your room balcony to read a book or meditate, and the jimmybuffet style music is there. On cooler nights, try sleeping with the sliding door opened, but you can't unless you use ear plugs. It's non-stop annoying.
Next is the rudeness I witness coming from the GM of the hotel to a guest who suggested a room improvement. Loud, and in front of other guests, I felt bad for the young lady who simply asked for a better cutting utensil for her room. Unacceptable behaviour, the man is rude, no wonder very few show up to the hotel "not-so-happy" champagne hour.
I stayed at the single room residence, and must say it's great to have your own washer/dryer in the room. However, the pots and pans the hotel provides are the cheapest around, as are the utensils. A small frying pan for eggs would be a good way to start.
The hotel staff is new, it seems they are still in training (I was told the hotel opened in Dec 2020). They don't seem to have answers to simple questions, and always have to call someone for answers.
Check-out was very slow (as was checking-in), so allow some extra time and patience or you may be late for the airport.
The location is very good, right downtown, walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets.

Room tip: If you need a quieter room or better view, maybe staying at floors 4 and up could help.

First, I want to say that we came for a cruise and were at this hotel during the soft opening. So there were a few hiccups. First, check in took entirely too long. They have one computer available and we had to wait 30 mins. The washer/dryer didn't work, but maintenance came up immediately to fix it. Plus the assistant housekeeping manager personally came back to make sure it was fixed.

Everything else was excellent.

The staff is amazing. They are warm and hospitable. Each and every person I encountered was extremely helpful and apologized for any brief inconvenience I had.

The room was immaculate. Cleanest room I've ever been in. Fitness center was huge.

My Mom loved the shower and the shower gel. She also enjoyed the robes. The beds were the most comfortable I ever stayed in and the towels were amazing.

The balcony was massive and we stayed on it for hours. The view was amazing.

A lot of the restaurants weren't open during the soft opening but the coffee from the bakery was good, as were the pastries. I thought it was reasonably priced, especially for a resort.

I'd love to come back once everything is completely up and running.
