So, I'm on a big family vacation in Costa Rica right now (there are 8 of us). Roiner with Arawak has been our driver from San Jose to Tulemar, our guide through Manuel Antonio Park, then our driver again from Tulemar to The Arenal area. In total, we've spent about 12 hours with him so far, and he has been fantastic.

Roiner is an incedible guide and is very knowledgable about pretty much everything in central America: plant life, animals, biology in general, geology, geography, industry, etc. As well, he is an incredibly nice guy, safe driver, and all around good human.

If you plan a trip to Costa Rica, I highly recommend Arawak and Roiner, specifically.

Thank Bryce M

Easy access to the shop to rent and return equipment. Friendly and helpful staff. Good prices. The only negative comment is that my snorkel goggles fit too tightly across my forehead and caused a little pain.

Easy to rent and affordable price for snorkel/mask/flippers. I found the quality to be good and appreciate the mesh bag that was also provided.

Our pickup and return of our tandem kayak went smoothly. We even received a call on the day we were arriving on St. John just to let us know what time they closed that day. They also deliver and pickup on weekly rentals!

Arthur really made our first experience with Arawak a great one. Online reservation system is easy and hassle free. We met at the conveniently located office next to Mongoose on the appointed morning right when we agreed. We took a few minutes in their office will great AC to go over the game plan. Arthur gave us a dry bag and a bag for fins and snorkel equipment and kept anything we wanted to leave behind locked up at the office. They had snorkel gear to rent if we needed it and maps. He gave us good tips on where to snorkel and how best to operate the kayak. After that, we walked over to the Cruz Bay beach and we were off and paddling...we went around Lind Point over to Henley Cay and then back via the Caneel beaches, Honeymoon, and Solomon. It was really enjoyable day and a great way to see STJ from a whole new angle.
