Truly the most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen. We snorkeled in turquoise waters right off the beach and saw a world of fish - easily hundreds of thousands - the waves were minimal and the sand was white and soft. The best part is that it wasn’t crowded.

We have been visiting Grace Bay Beach on Provo for nine years, and we have not found a more beautiful, natural, clean, white sand beach with turquoise blue waters anywhere else in our travels!

We have been to other islands in the Caribbean, plus Mexico, Hawaii and others, but none can tick all the boxes like Provo can! The feeling of personal safety walking outside and on the beach is far better in Provo than anywhere else. No, you can't afford to take unnecessary risks as crime exists worldwide, but on Provo it is very low.

ALL beaches on Provo are for designated for public use. The only things that belong to resorts of course are their palapas, sun lounges, bar services, etc. You CANNOT access the beach through a resort or private home.

Throughout the island of Provo you will see beach access roads and walkways that are for public parking and use. Most of these lanes are adjacent resorts with small parking areas. The access roads are designated with little white signs stating Princess Alexandra Beach or Park, Public Access.

Some roads are not marked with signs, but if you can access the beach without being on private property then go for it!!

Each beach on the island has its own characteristics. If you like calm wind with calm, shallow water go to Sapodilla Bay or Taylor Bay on the south side. Kiteboarders love the crosswinds and one point five meter deep waters at Long Bay Beach. Grace Bay Beach on the north side has crystal clear water, ribbons of blue colour, white sand and is normally nice and breezy which helps keep the heat down!

There are many other little beaches, and it is exciting to find them and learn their different traits!

The water stays relatively calm because of the reef protection and the sand could not be whiter. The combo creates a pristine pool of glorious turquoise water that is unbeatable.

Due to the total devastation suffered by Saint Martin
where we had spent vacations since 2007, we decided to look for an alternativo spot.
Turks & Caicos was our choise early this year, specificaly Grace Bay, quiet beach , friendly hotel,
reasonably priced, where we stayed for a full week
