Conch: lots and lots of varieties of conch.
Stopped in during the Sarahi Tour for lunch. The tour guide said this was the best conch place in the world. He took us to the conch shucker on the beach and we were able to see how they were removed from the shell. We got to taste fresh conch directly pulled from the shell-raw.
We seen the conch shells and got to pick one out while the guide cleaned it for us. We learned all about conch and the life cycle-pretty amazing!
For lunch we had conch critters, fried conch, fried fish and fried plantains with French fries-lots of fried food. It was tasty, but so much food!
