We went one evening, ordered, waited ages for the food and found it to be tasteless and greasy. The waitress was sullen and we were pleased to leave!

Well... we came upon this bar and thought we'd have a quick drink. Tje barmaid couldn't speak English. She had no idea what a gin and tonic was. Then charged us $21 for 2 gin and tonics. Absolute rip off. Very disappointed.

We had the pan fried snapper, with dirty rice (mixed with beans) and cole slaw. It was delicious! The menu is very limited (not all items on handwritten list were available), so it is best to ask when you arrive what is available. There was only baked chicken and the snapper, early on a Friday night in off season. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bar overlooks the water, but the restaurant doesn't. We would go back, but not for a "night out."

Best Farm Turtle Stew ever! These are not the Endangered Turtles found in
ocean. These are farm raised turtles. The Cayman Islands also release hundreds of turtles each year to the ocean. Turtle has been a Cayman food for 100s of years.
The service is excellent and the fried fish and fried chicken was delicious.
Friendly place to go for a great meal that is not so expensive!

We stopped by the Coral Isle Club for lunch on July 7 2017 but did not stay. Most of the items on the menu were not available but one that was available, sea turtle, made us leave without ordering. All sea turtle species are endangered world wide and are protected by various international agreements including CITES, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species.

The government of the Cayman Islands is signatory to CITES yet sea turtle is openly available on the menu at this restaurant. We saw that and left. Until they remove sea turtle from their menu we encourage you to avoid this restaurant as well.
