“A lovely holiday home in a fabulous location topped with great customer service.”
Reviewed 19 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The reviews I read prior to going were all good and they weren't wrong. The house is pretty perfect (we did have a prolonged power cut during our stay but that was throughout the whole of Morfa Bychan so not the owners' fault at all). Most important for us was an enclosed garden for the dogs and that was great and as others have said the canopy area is a real boon. We didn't have great weather but it was warm enough to sit out under the canopy as it provided some shelter. I knew the area beforehand through staying many times at a local caravan park so knew the beach was stunning and only being a 5 minute walk away was great for morning and evening dog walks. We tried the local pub but it wasn't our type of place. The chippy was, as always, fantastic with fish to die for. Went to Harlech and enjoyed the castle. Will definitely be coming back to this cottage. The owners really do go the extra mile to make sure you are welcomed and your needs accommodated and they are good communicators too.

“Perfect Holiday Cottage”
Reviewed 18 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

The cottage lived up to our expectations, having read previous reviews. The cottage had everything you would need, was spotless inside, and is a great location for a holiday with dogs, with an enclosed garden, and a short walk to a huge dog friendly beach, past the dog friendly pub.We met the owner Joanne when she came to cut the grass, and having mentioned a wok would have been useful, one appeared later that day.We agree with all the good things previous reviewers have said, and really appreciated the comfort when the weather was unpredictable.

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed 9 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

What a great place to stay! The cottage was really comfortable, lovely little touches, welcome pack and everything you need, a real home from home. Location fabulous 5 minutes to the beach, great for our dog, also, enclosed garden which is both safe and secure for pets and children. The canopy at the back was great for eating al fresco, lovely relaxing break, will definitely be back, thanks to the owners who were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. A real find!

“Beautiful cottage in an excellent location”
Reviewed 8 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Stayed here with my partner and our dog for 4 nights. Booking was very straightforward with excellent communication from the owner, and the price was very reasonable. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need. The back garden is enclosed and was ideal for our dog. We were welcomed with a delicious cake and bottle of wine, which was a lovely gesture. The house is in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. You pass the local pub on the way (Tafarn Glanaber) which we used a couple of times and were made very welcome, including the dog. We ate there on two occasions and the meals were excellent (typical pub grub but done really well). The spar (within a few minutes walk on the main road) was reasonably priced and sold a good range of products. Unfortunately the fish and chip shop was closed while we were there. We also ate from Happy Chop Suey House in Porthmadog (just a few minutes drive away) and had a delicious meal and can highly recommend them. We walked to Criccieth from Morfa Bychan which was a lovely walk through farms, over hills and along the beach. We visited the prince of Wales pub which was very friendly and welcomed us and the dog. We also visited Harlech which has a lovely beach and castle. The castle is also dog friendly. We had a lovely stay in Morfa Bychan which was an excellent base and the house made it perfect. Thank you.

We booked a last minute 3 night stay for us and our two dogs ( for whom there was no extra charge) and we can honestly say that this was one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need and was very comfortable and modern. The beach was amazing and was only a short walk away from the property. The fully enclosed rear garden was secure for the dogs although it did back on to one of the caravan parks in the area. We went to the local pub for a meal on the one evening and found the food to be tasty and plentiful - the place was much as described in other reviews - but we were told it was being re - furbished in Feb 2016. We would definately consider going back to this property again - but probably not in peak holiday season when we guess the parks and other facilities would be extremely busy
