Small cottage with a big personality - ideal spot to get away from it all or equally perfect to use as a base for a sight seeing few days.

Great spot just off the main road with off street parking and secluded rear garden

Get In - light the fire - enjoy.

Not sure I wanted to review this as I want it all to myself! This beautiful, well-equipped, quaint cottage is within a small village in an excellent location and a very short walk to the local pub, The Eagle, which, as a real bonus, had amazing food. From arrival we all fell in love with it. Whilst obviously its a small Welsh cottage, it had all the amenities you would want and yet with the fire blazing on an evening, it felt like home. You will not be disappointed and after contacting the owner, Jacqui, for further information, I was delighted to hear that there was a large downstairs double room right next door to the bathroom which was perfect for my mom and dad as my mom is not very good on her legs and was not looking forward to the stairs! Mom was delighted. The cottage is very clean and beautifully decorated and we will definitely be going again.

Lovely little cottage great base for seeing the lake and visiting Barmouth - we even took the kids to the nearby lesuire centre for a swim and the local pub grub was just what we needed. Can't wait to go again in the summer.

“Idealic countryside cottage”

We are a family of five, 2 adults and 3 kids age 2, 7 and 9. This is located in a great area for us. Located about a 5 mins car journey from Bala which is a lovely town, with the gorgeous beach in Barmouth half an hour away and Aberystwyth just over an hour.

The cottage is quite small but very comfortable. There is one bedroom downstairs which me and Hubby slept in, then one bedroom upstairs with bunk-beds and a double bed which was ideal for the kids. The kitchen, bathroom and lounge were perfect with central heating for the cooler evenings. There is enough parking for 2 cars.

Our son has an allergy to pets so very happy this is a pet-free cottage.

We have stayed in this cottage several times and are looking to go back again this year in the school holidays. Very happy to give a very positive review.

I myself have allergies Kirsty, hence a definitive pet free zone, I'm really glad that you've enjoyed your stays and look forward to seeing you all again in August.
