We stayed here for one night (pre-COVID), and I'm very glad it was just one night and not a whole week. As others have stated, the resort shares its amenities with a (cheaper) hotel across the street, which crowds amenities and brings a bit of a different clientele. Overall, service was sorely lacking and the whole place felt cheap and absolutely not worthy of the price tag. Please do yourself a favor and spend the extra money/points and go to the Ritz!

For those who are looking for a good pool experience in particular - stay away. Pool is extremely uncomfortable on feet (bottom is not sanded correctly - other reviews were not exaggerating!), swim-up bar stools are equally uncomfortable and often full, and the pool had a lot of dirt and debris (including a floating trash bag - how pleasant).

I gave 3 stars because the beach is beautiful and the location is great, the grounds themselves are nice and tropical, and our dinner at Beach House was fantastic, but overall it was just not the experience we were looking for. Our room was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite as Titanium, which we appreciated (extra full bath was very nice), but overall the renovation felt cheaply done. Partial ocean view was obstructed by a giant tent used for events, where we got to sit on our balcony and watch businesspeople having meals. (Keep an eye out for these business events - lobby was also packed with people, and the next day, they took over the whole pool area with a very loud event.)

Staff was not overly helpful - when we first arrived (4pm at check-in), I asked for a pool chair cover and was told they were about to start picking them up (?). The ones they did have were stained and not very comfortable, and in the mornings, they power wash the whole pool deck and the chair cushions become wet - not ideal. The pool area is also just too small and felt crowded overall - not enough space to spread out and servers were very hard to come by (very much a do-it-yourself vibe here). Hot tubs were always packed with people too.

While I would return for a drink or meal, I cannot say I'd ever stay here again - for the relatively small price difference, the Ritz down the road was a supremely better experience. If you're looking for any level of luxury - go there!

Hotel is beautiful and staff is so accommodating. The beach is beautiful. We had a pool and ocean view room. Could not have been better. The hotel has activities that you can participate in. The food was excellent. Location was good.

We came here on a conference and unfortunately had to leave early due to Trump. Our room was spacious but the view was a disappointment looking over a car park. I would not stay here again as there are better hotels on the Island. With all the money my partners firm paid you should at least give all participants a sea view room.

We had always loved our staycations at the Westin. The rooms are always clean and the staff is friendly. It's always our to go place when it comes to relaxation. We had friends and family here when they visit the island. We absolutely love the spa at the Westin, highly recommend.

We had a great couple of days at the Westin in Grand Cayman. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the shops on premise are great and the staff go the long way to cater to your every need. We had a room with pool and sea view and it was just great. Big size bed, cleanliness all around, great toiletries.

The hotel has a couple of restaurants, all really good and there’s tons of activities that you can do really close to the hotel. I highly reccomend booking a sunset dinner cruise and a submarine ride.

Also, if golf is your thing, right across the street at the Ritz you have a nine-hole that is great, one of Greg Norman’s gems really!

Tip: take the breakfast on the beach with a “bespoke” omelette, it is truly an unforgettable experience!

Points to improve for the hotel: the coffee shop can get better quality products and coffee. I felt those were a bit sub-par with regards to the rest of the experience.

Would definitely reccomend the Westin and will definitely come back!
