Our family had an amazing time at the Marriott Grand Cayman resort! The service was absolutely top notch. They were very attentive and wanted to make sure our every need was met. Beyond the room, pool area and restaurants, the staff within the Kid’s Club were stellar. They left our kids wanting to come back for more! Kat, Debbie, and Selena planned wonderfully fun activities for them to enjoy each day. Our family will undoubtedly be back for more memory making at this fabulous resort!

Dear Gommyofgrace, thanks for your kind feedback. We appreciate your generous comments about our top notch customer service, attentive staff and fabulous resort.

I am delighted that your children had the chance to check out our Kids Club! Kathryn and her team do a fantastic time entertaining our junior guests. At our resort, we offer our families something different rather than having a Kids Club where children just end up watching movies and playing video games. We thought about all the activities that we used to enjoy from our childhood and chose things that families could do together such as spending time around a bonfire and making S’mores and stargazing on the beach. Our aim was to make it less about technology and more about re-connection.

Thanks for choosing Marriott and we hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Best regards,
John Hazard, General Manager

This experience was top notch in every way. We had a group come to the Marriott and from the beginning our group coordinator was nothing short of awesome. Every question we had was answered within a couple of hours via email. I couldn't ask for better customer service. Laura Ferreyra was our main point of contact and she was fabulous. As many reviewers have stated the service is incredible. Everyone you will come in contact with goes above and beyond to make your experience a good one. The bellmen, front desk, crepe maker (I should know his name but I don't remember), the beach attendants, servers, bartenders, and housekeeping all do an incredible job. We had a group dinner one evening and Paul, our dinner coordinator and the bartender were both so great in making everything run smoothly. A few things I want to note for people who read multiple reviews of this hotel. 1. The Beach area is small and it does get crowded but not overwhelmingly so. Yes, people get up early to reserve chairs but they do a good job of removing items if chairs go unattended for a long time. Also, there seems to be a decent ebb and flow of people coming and going so it isn't usually a problem to get a chair. If you are one of those people who comes down at 10:00 a.m. it might be difficult, but not an insurmountable task to get a chair. 2. Some people have said there are limited food choices. I think that is inaccurate. On the contrary our group found the food to be mostly delicious and there are several different options to choose from. There are also gluten free options and they ask very considerately if you have any dietary issues or allergies. 3. I hear people comment a lot about how expensive Cayman is. I don't personally think it's that expensive. It's definitely not cheap and I'm not trying to imply that isn't, but people make you think that every meal is going to cost you $100 and it doesn't. Like anything..you can find an upscale experience and you can find a casual fish taco experience. You don't have to break the bank if you don't want to. If you like to explore other options the Marriott is conveniently situated close to many different dining options that are either a short cab ride away or walking distance. If you want to hunker down and never leave there are plenty of food choices at the Marriott. The only thing I didn't love was the cab fares seem arbitrary but I'm never going to let something like that ruin a fantastic week.

Room Tip: If you ask for an ocean view, it's beautiful, but also overlooks the pool which stays open until 11 and can be noisy.

Dear Cindy R, thanks for your review. We appreciate your generous comments about our incredible customer service and convenient location.

Our Beach House is ideally located on Seven Mile Beach with its proximity to Camana Bay and Georgetown as well as numerous restaurants, bars and shopping centers being a stone’s throw away. Did you have the chance to take advantage of our complimentary Linus bike rentals, included in the Resort Fee? They are a fantastic way to explore the island like a local.

Thanks for choosing Marriott and we hope to see you again soon.

My husband & I stayed here for our 28th Anniversary & we absolutely loved it! The resort is beautiful and the staff were always so helpful and kind. From the moment we arrived ....we met Nelson, who took our bags and offered us cold lemonade/water and took such good care of us every day! And he always called us by name...great memory Nelson! They even surprised us by delivering to our room an anniversary bottle of sparkling wine and a decadent dessert to share with a sweet note to us! The breakfast buffet was amazing as was lunch or dinner sitting by the beach (7-Mile Beach) listening to live music and watching the sunset! Highly recommend coming here to anyone!!

This was my first trip to Cayman islands with my wife and 2 kids 12 and 11. Hotel is typical of what you expect from Mariott--clean, conservative, Neutral tones etc. I wish they would be more daring especially in Carribean. Service was really really good everywhere including beach. Bartender Dil Shakya makes the best Mojito--just tell him your preference of the Mojito -sweet vs Strong. Server Shankar really stood out. Food choices at the restaurants somewhat limited which made us go to outside restaurants ( not a bad thing) . Beach is really good--perfect sand. Water is super clear. Snorkeling right in front of the hotel is really awesome and is the best part of this hotel. Snorkeling part of the water is rocky as expected but then go about 50-100 feet to right and water is without rocks so you get the best of both world. Seven mile beach is super Calm--great for paddleborading and kayaking( incldued in resort fee). We loved taking long walk every day up seven Mile beach up to Ritz Carlton ( about 1.5 miles). Beach and water is perfect everyhwere but snorkeling is best in front of Marriott. Clientele is almsot 100% American ( unfortuntaely this means prices are higher). Cayman island is super expensive compared to many other carribean Islands so definitely not a value destination. Cannot beat Punta Cana for that. You can walk/Bike outside the hotels without any problem. Overall we had Great time and will be back in future.

Dear RMainali, thanks for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate your generous comments about our good service, nice beach and awesome snorkeling right off our beachfront.

I think we have the best staff in Cayman – they are the most professional, friendliest and kindest people. We invest around 80 hours of one-to-one training on each of our employees every year so I am so glad that all their hard work is being recognised.

Thanks for choosing Marriott and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon!

Had a great evening last night and AJ was our server. We had many drinks and the food was great. Try the Nachos! Cuban sandwich was yummy and the pork carnita tacos were the best! The night was great and She's service made it perfect. We were out on the beach today and ran into him a couple times. Once was my husband and AJ stopped and talked and then I ran into him later in evening. He took the time and stopped and ask how we were doing. Now that is customer service! What a great view from our table last night.

Dear Candace S, thanks for your glowing review. We appreciate your kind comments about our awesome Vista Bar, great food and delicious drinks.

At our Beach House, we are foodies. Like you, we are travellers and when we see something that we like from our travels around the world then we use it for inspiration. For instance, our Food & Beverage program incorporates elements from countries around the world that we have visited like Spain, Mexico, France, Italy – just to name a few.

Thank you for choosing Marriott and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
