The Caymans is just about my favorite place to travel and the Royal Palms Beach Club is relaxing with a little bit of spice. You will not be bored here and there is plenty of beautiful people to see. The beach is beautiful, safe, has full facilities with lockers and WiFi. The water was picture perfect and the beach pristine. We had a great time. The views are amazing and relaxing. The bar and food is typical island style but very delicious with great service and staff.

If you're into crowds and loud music then this is your spot! A great place to visit for a few hours if you're from a cruise or don't live on any of the resorts ocean side this place provides loads of options. Pool, Pool bar, beach bar, chairs for rent on the beach. Its definitely not a quiet spot however.

They PACK people in here. The chair touching on both sides. It is the only crowded spot on the beach because that is the only place people know of. It would have cost us $50 for two chairs and an umbrella and the privelege of being packed in with 200 of my new best friends.
If you walk around the corner of the beach (50 feet) you see an expanse of beach that is pristine and not crowded at all. Many spots in the water, you would be the only people around.
We walked up the beach and found a resort that had no rental fees and only had a minimum $25 pp in food and drinks. And the food and drinks were great! And each pair of chairs had several feet of space on either side. The umbrellas were larger, etc, etc, etc. Hate to give it away this gem, but it was Hemingways.
The Royal Palms pays the taxis to take people there and with 5-6 ships in port, it is PACKED. Do a little more research and you will have a better experience.

Hi dancerjohn

Thank you for your review. It's true, sometimes we can be very busy as Royal Palms has been a focal point of Seven Mile Beach for 20+ years now and we have a long-standing reputation as the place to go on Grand Cayman so we have many visitors from all over the world. With this reputation we do not have any standing contracts or kickbacks for cruise ships, taxi's or hotels.

As Seven Mile Beach is rated by Trip Advisor as one of the top 10 beaches in the world we have many thousands of visitors daily and we do try to accommodate as many guests as possible however with 5-6 ships in port on occasion there are many visitors on the island at one time.

We hope next time you join us there may be a few less ships in port on that day.

We were directed to Royal Palms Beach Club my a taxi driver waiting outside the cruise port terminal. The beach is beautiful, safe, has full facilities and WiFi. The water was picture perfect and the beach pristine. We had a great time. They charged $2 entry fee and $15 for an umbrella plus $12 per beach chair. We did not have any food or drink this visit and wished we had more time to spend there.

Hi josie503

Our weather is just beautiful this time of the year so you can never go wrong with a trip to Seven Mile beach. Next time you might have to come to the Cayman Islands for a longer time and enjoy everything we have to offer (including a few extra Rum Punch's!).

We look forward to seeing you again soon.
