Friendly and warm staff! Loved the venue and the views of the ocean. We both had the jerk chicken sandwich and it was PHENOMENAL. Service was friendly and prompt. I’m all, the reason I keep going to Hard Rock are Experiences like that!

We stopped in for a quick bite while waiting on a piece of jewelry to get fixed. We sat at a high top in the bar. They were busy even though it was around 2. The bartender took our order of Nachos and we were served pretty quick. I can’t have cheese so they split them. We had pulled pork, they were very tasty and the only reason I gave it a 4 is because they didn’t have enough help and the waitresses were too busy, and the managers were trying to talk a customer/employee to come to work earlier. Great view of the harbor.

My wife and I ate at lunch the Hard Rock Cafe in Georgetown Grand Cayman 22-Jan-2018. Just what you would expect from a Hard Rock, which is no way negative .... sometimes you just want good ol' American cuisine, comfort food!

Of course we had to hit the store first, because you just have to have a t-shirt or two to let everyone else you you have been there and done that. Cool designs as always, particularly the shirts that have the Blue Iguana, paying tribute and raising awareness to a very endangered species.

We ordered the Potato Skins, which while listed as an appetizer are a meal all by themselves. And then shared a Legendary Burger (staying with the true classic), and then topped it off with a Strawberry Daquari and a Cayman Mama. Very good food and drinks. The server was friendly and helpful and available as needed. We had a great window view of the port right from our table which allowed us to see port boat traffic and cruise ships. Pretty cool!

I recommend this restaurant, but be aware of the time of day and when they are open. Much of Georgetown seems to be closed down when the cruise line crowds vacate, and of course if they are in town be aware that there are busier times as the cruise folks can overwhelm the downtown businesses in a flash (depending on the number of ships in port). Call before you go is my advice.

Thanks for your good and thorough review. I agree with all your comments and will add that Sunday is the only iffy day for insuring we are OPEN, depending on season and ships. Otherwise, we are OPEN everyday until 9pm.

I get it. Sometimes it’s just nice to brag a brew or a ‘Rita and look at that blue blue Cayman water, maybe cool off from the balmy 82 degrees and take a break from shopping...

We’ve done it. Been here 2-3 times but this last time was the worst! Georgetown was mad packed with cruise ship folks; there were FIVE in town, so we should have known better. We were lucky to get seated. We just got a bunch of appetizers and drinks - onion rings, fries, wings, nachos... the wings were good but too spicy for the kids and the nachos were just yuck...

Probably won’t go back when it’s that busy again!

Although you are probably quite accurate about being in town during 5-6 cruise ship days, we pride ourselves in still being able to deliver great service and food. Our apologies for not living up to our normal standard. If you are still on Island, please stop by again and give us another try.

Stopped in this afternoon for an Appetizer and Drinks. Service was nothing short of horrible. Appetizer came before the drinks, it took so long to get the drinks that we were already done eating. We had to chase our waitress down to get the drinks and then one of them was wrong. It was obvious they could care less about the service. I would suggest you take a pass and pick one of the many nearby spots.

We are so sorry that you didn't get to experience our normal amplified service. We strive to meet that objective with every Guest interaction. If you would like to talk offline about any other specifics, it would be most appreciated. In any event, we will use as a learning experience to improve. You can email me at tim@hrccaymanislands.com
