My wife and I ate at lunch the Hard Rock Cafe in Georgetown Grand Cayman 22-Jan-2018. Just what you would expect from a Hard Rock, which is no way negative .... sometimes you just want good ol' American cuisine, comfort food!
Of course we had to hit the store first, because you just have to have a t-shirt or two to let everyone else you you have been there and done that. Cool designs as always, particularly the shirts that have the Blue Iguana, paying tribute and raising awareness to a very endangered species.
We ordered the Potato Skins, which while listed as an appetizer are a meal all by themselves. And then shared a Legendary Burger (staying with the true classic), and then topped it off with a Strawberry Daquari and a Cayman Mama. Very good food and drinks. The server was friendly and helpful and available as needed. We had a great window view of the port right from our table which allowed us to see port boat traffic and cruise ships. Pretty cool!
I recommend this restaurant, but be aware of the time of day and when they are open. Much of Georgetown seems to be closed down when the cruise line crowds vacate, and of course if they are in town be aware that there are busier times as the cruise folks can overwhelm the downtown businesses in a flash (depending on the number of ships in port). Call before you go is my advice.
