After a fantastic but hectic flotilla in the BVI's, 4 nights here was the perfect end to our holiday to relax and sunbath in luxury on a wonderful beach with beautiful gardens and our own romantic villa which was beautifully appointed with great views and a lovely terrace with swing seats.
We stayed over both Sunday and Monday when they don't do dinner but we strolled round the corner to The Fish n Lime Inn by the ferry opposite Sopers Hole for our best meal on any of the Islands.
We also hired a car for Sunday and went over to the north side of the Island with beautiful deserted beaches at Smugglers Cove, Long Beach and Cane Bay where we ate dinner.
Tortola feels un-spoilt in comparison to some of the other Caribbean Islands and the sailing is just fantastic. We will definitely be back to sail and look forward to a few days back at Frenchmans to recover and stop shouting what to do at each other!
The staff and Peter the manager were so welcoming and friendly that I'd recommend it even if your not sailing.More
