It's been my second time to Anse Chastanet and I enjoyed this idyllic environment very much once more .
The beaches Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin are kept immaculately clean and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Due to the layout and the huts both beaches never appear packed, even in high season when both hotels are full and a lot of day visitors are around. Unlike the beach around the corner in Soufriere the water is free of rubbish as well. It is a great spot for watersports. Food and drinks at the beach bar and restaurant are very tasty, but certainly I enjoyed most our visit to Jade Mountain restaurant. Exquisite food and wine served by superb staff. The tuna coated in a delicious composition of spices and herbs melted in your mouth. On top of this the vegetable is organically grown on the owner's farm. We were a group of 4 and I was facing the infinity pool, which parts the restaurant from the lounge, and which shimmers in rainbow colours in daylight. I my imagination this view would be so enchanting with elaborate illumination in the evening. It's a real pity that this beautiful place is so far away

Gorgeous spot in St Lucia. It is situated on 600 acres, has two beaches, great snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, paddle boarding and other options like sailing and jungle biking. We were in 7E which is 700 sq ft with views of the Chastenay beach and a spectacular view of the Pitons on Sugar Beach. Everything was open, no screens, just open slats. It can get pretty hot during the day and there are fans but no A/C. We were inside a net during the night which was fun! There are 3 restaurants and two bars one of which also serves food - all open air as well. One can arrange to eat on the beach privately if desired and room service is available. The smaller beach Mamin is delightful, also has a lunch restaurant/bar and is known for it's fantastic burgers. We spent most of our time on the beaches swimming and snorkeling in that beautiful clear blue warm water. The hotel is on a very, very steep hill and there are stairs everywhere. We counted 360 stairs from the beach to our room! Fortunately they offer shuttle service! We only left the grounds once in 10 days to do an all day island excursion called the Sea and Land Tour which was not very interesting. We were taken to the wrong dock from the boat to meet the taxi which took up some time and the rest of the tour was boring with not much historical info. The hotel grounds are far more interesting!!! There are trails in the jungle, old sugar mill ruins and lots of birds! Our room that we booked was not available when we arrived which was annoying so we had to move into the one we booked a day later and move everything again. Kind of a waste of a day and we had to wait on the beach 3 hours in between...... The staff is very accommodating and very pleasant. It is truly a beautiful place, so peaceful - no TV and no in room phones.

Room tip: The higher up the better the view! 7E was great and large.

We have just had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort. We had a fabulous room, 12 A which was massive, clean and had lovely views of the ocean and we were not at all over looked, nor could we see anyone elses rooms. We found all of the staff to be first class, always happy, helpful - nothing was ever too much trouble and it seemed that they all took great pride in their work and we feel as though we made some lovely friends. The managers and owners also really went out of their way to make our stay special with so many lovely touches for Christmas. The food was excellent at every meal and on both the beaches. The beaches themselves are beautiful and so well looked after, really good snorkelling and water sports and the grounds are amazing to explore - the mountain biking was great fun and our guide Tyson was brilliant. We had a completely relaxing holiday here and would definitely recommend this place, we don't like big concrete hotels so this gorgeous resort was right up our street being so unique and quite small and we would go back without doubt.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our second anniversary in style after spending a week in St Lucia with her family. For the last night of our vacation we decided to spoil ourselves and booked a spot at Anse Chastanet.

The property and ambiance is amazing. The beach is one of the finest on the whole island. And the room and view blew our freaking minds. (It helped that they surprised us with an upgrade to 7D to congratulate us on our anniversary)

Many thanks to everyone there that made our two-year celebration something we will always remember.
