Nice, peaceful, and so relaxing. The staff and owner were all so amazing. We stayed a week and loved it here. Close to grocery store and all the comforts of home. Fully equipped kitchen and two pools. Take the day trip with to Soufriere with Claudius. He is a great guide and full of local info.

VBC was the perfect spot for my wife and I to take our first trip to St Lucia. It was really our first big trip for "just us". We looked at several all inclusive resorts in St Lucia and on other islands. Most of these have all the activities on resort, and include all food and drinks. We wanted to do our own thing, not really knowing yet what that was. . . .

When we arrived in St Lucia, we had arranged transport from the airport to VBC thru the staff at VBC. Claudius pick us up at the airport. What a beautiful trip back to the Villas. We stopped along the way for a local bread with fish, this was probably one of the best things we ate on the island.

The check in was great The staff made us feel like family. I could not believe how close we were to the water. What a great view. Claudius was our driver for most of our trips. The staff at the Villas arranged all of our dinner reservations and tours of the island. Great times. We ate out almost every day and tried all the local delights.

Highlights from our trip included, Sunday church service in Castries, shopping at Rodney Bay, Castries open market, diamond falls, sulfur springs, lunch at Ladera (arranged by Claudius), snorkel trip to sugar beach (arranged by Claudius), pigeon island, lunch at Marigot Bay, pigeon island, snorkel boat trip to Anse la raye, smugglers cove, and La Dauphine Estate.

On our last day, we were walking on the beach by the Villas which borders a Sandals resort. We talked with a couple there, who like us, spent a week on the island. They were shocked at all we did in a week. Having the personal drivers and staff cater to our every need made this vacation very memorable.

We were sad to leave such an awesome place. I would love to come back in the future and couldn't imagine experiencing this island without staying at VBC and their helpful staff guiding us to a great vacation.

Room Tip: We had the honeymoon suite which wasnt attached, so no noise was heard. Overall the entire property seems quiet.

The views and accommodations are exquisite. This island was not affected by recent storms and is a hidden gem. The staff here treat guests like extended family, learning your style and tailoring your vacation to make it memorable. You can choose to sit on your balcony watching rainbows with a cocktail, or set off on adventures such as snorkeling, shopping, sightseeing, etc. Its all available nearby and the staff will make sure the experience matches your taste.

We spent six peaceful days there, enjoying the beach and the lovely pool. Sometimes, the only sounds I heard were the surf and birds singing. I just loved sitting on our patio, enjoying just being there.

The staff made a point of taking care of us. They cheerfully booked activities, made restaurant reservations, and arranged for drivers to take us. They seemed to know where to go, and what to do. It was easy, but it did cost us. For some reason, transportation is expensive on St. Lucia, and the restaurants were not cheap, either.

Our kitchen was quite well-equipped and there is a supermarket that is a 5-10 minute walk away (along a busy road). We were able to prepare some of our meals, and although I loved the local cuisine at the restaurants, we were glad to have Dominoes deliver a pizza one evening. There is no restaurant nearby.

They recommended a catered meal which was a little disappointing. The restaurants prepare far better food, but it was convenient to have the food delivered.

In short, I found it a peaceful paradise, but we felt a little "stuck" unless we were willing to pay top dollar for excursions.

Room Tip: I liked being on the ground floor so that we could walk straight from our patio to the pool and beach.
