If you want to stay in old San Juan this house is perfect. It has everything you will need during your stay. I went with my family consisting of 4 adults and a 1 year old. There was more than enough space for all of us. Each of the three rooms in the house has air-conditioning, which is great. The main space does not but there is a fan which keeps it pretty cool, just make sure you ask how to turn it on, took us a few days. There is an outdoor/indoor water feature which is pretty cool. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The bathroom situation is great for larger groups. The main floor restroom is a simple sink and toilet. The second floor (which has two bedrooms) has one bathroom with a shower, the third floor (which is a bedroom with attached balcony and bathroom) has a shower/bath. Water pressure was very good the first few days, a little weak on the last. You will have to be able to do stairs if you plan to stay here. The view from both the second and third floor are amazing. You can clearly see the water from each. Location wise you are a short walk to both forts and have easy access to any type of store you may need. There is a pretty steep hill leading up to the house, this is pretty unavoidable if you are going to stay in the area, but it's not horrible. I felt completely safe while I was there. The only catch to this area is if you rent a car it is kind of a pain. There is no parking right at the house. There is a 24 hour parking lot less than 10 minutes walking from the house, you will have to pay to park there, however I'd say that I considered the cost reasonable. Do not park on the street where it is labeled for residents, the ticket is NOT worth it.
