We were a group of 7, kids and adults. We ordered 8 different things and everyone was very happy. My favorite was the ribs with rice and beans. Amazing!
Service was friendly and efficient. Nice athmosphere. Would love to visit again.

Had a wonderful time for my first visit to Puerto Rico. Our hotel front desk recommend the casita miramar for dinner which was in walking distance of the hotel and it didn’t disappoint.

We had complimentary soup and fritters for starters followed by the gratinated beef w/tostones - smoked pork ribs in guava rub and the fish of the day which was nice size snapper fried served with a tomato sauce and mix mofongo plantains and cassava. ( the fish was great) we were then serve shots at the end that had coffee beans in it.

Can’t remember exactly the toast but it had so thing to do with health, life and love or something close to that. Lol

Would return for sure and recommend to anyone that’s staying in that area.

After reading numerous reviews about this place, the bf and I decided to try it out. We went on a Saturday night and it was busy. The hostess was so sweet, she offered everyone beverages while they waited. There is a beautiful patio seating area and a beautiful inside area. The decor is fun. Menus are put on a chair in front of you on a giant blackboard. They serve complimentary fired fish and plantain soup (which was amazing). The seafood mofongo was delicious and the guava fried cheese appetizer was amazing. Our server was so sweet and knowledgable. This dinner was on the pricier side but so worth it. Go!

We had a group dinner for 25 people at this pleasant restaurant. Ambience, food and drinks were very good, Service was quick and very anxious to please. Space a little cramped, but crowded with locals which is always a good sign. Recommend this place.

The minute we sat down,we were served soup and codfish cake appetizers. Menus are written on large chalkboards and cost is included. We started with a gin and tonic, a monitor —perfectly tart and not overwhelmed by mint—and a huge sangria. The sangria must be the beverage of choice a several other customers were enjoying them as well. My choice was a grilled shrimp stuffed avocado served with salad greens and fried plantains . Another in our party had a similar dish stuffed with mahi-mahi. The third person had a grilled steak, also served with a salad. All of us enjoyed the dressing on the greens, but couldn’t determine the ingredients. Two of us shared what seemed to be a cheesecake style flan with a delicious sauce. We, enjoyed the after dinner rum and coffee bean liqueur. I would return in a heartbeat. Our waiter Ricardo was ever so helpful in explaining dishes that were unfamiliar to us.
