Today is day 8 of our two week stay here at the Diamond Club section of Royalton Negril. We have a family suite, bldg. 1, room 1109.

This is an excellent resort for families with lots of things to do. I can not say enough good things about the resort and the staff. Our butlers Denesha and Damon are topnotch. Always going above and beyond what is expected. We have lunches delivered whether we are at the diamond pooldeck or on the beach and they would even pick up our 7 yr old daughter Alleena from the Kids Club so my wife and I can get some rest or just chill with our drinks at the pool. As requested, we consistently get cookies and chocolate milk every night on top of the 24/7 room service.

We encountered some minor glitches during the first few nights but they were immediately addressed by the topnotch management team here. Jodian, the diamond club manager who gifted my wife a complimentary beach massage, Keith, the food and beverage manager who was always on top of things whenever there’s an F&B concern and always helping out with his infectious smile and extremely friendly attitude and most especially, Lorna Clarke, the junior general manager(I should call her Aunt Lorna) who always made sure that things were going perfectly. Her professionalism and very welcoming warmth and kindness immediately makes you feel at home. She even gave us a tour of the chairman’s building this morning inspite of her hectic schedule. We sincerely appreciate that! Maybe a complimentary upgrade to presidential swim out is not too far aunt Lorna?:)

This a vacation place like no other and we will be sure to return next year. We are already considering a travel smart vip club membership and we haven’t attended the sales pitch yet! We are loving this resort!

Putting in a good word for Clevious, the manager at Calypso restaurant who works and inspires his staff with excellent example and their best server Andrew. Paul and Simone and Randy at Marche buffet. Brad and the manager at Hunter’s steakhouse. Tanesha (the best server ever!), Kareem, Glen, Melissa, Daina, Amanda, Oneil and Simone and the rest of the team at the diamond club pool and beach bars. Cedrick and the guys at the Martini Mix bar. And a bunch of others who have been making our vacation an unforgettable experience. You guys are great assets to this resort. Jamaican warmth and hospitality at its absolute best!

I will update this review on day 14 and give y’all our overall thoughts of the experience.

So far so good.. gotta stop now and work on my grey goose and mango smoothie here at diamond club swim up bar for a bit. Yaaman! Jamaica no problem!

This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Andrew was amazing, he took very good care of us. Omar G. was also incredible. The food, entertainment, events and amenities were great!!!! It was very hard to leave on the last day. I highly recommend The Royalton Negril All Inclusive Resort.

The Resort has so many amenities all the way from inclusive meals, drinks, and the workout.... the trainers were awesome! Shout out to Kaffavin hosting the water aerobics class. We have so much fun!!!

Stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights absolutely breathe taking resort, everyone who works here is nothing but beautiful to be around. Wifi was working well, restaurants and so much to do for nightlife and daily activities! Would recommend

Stayed here for two weeks (end of May - Early June). Both weeks quiet for this resort, but second got a little busier as US schools had finished.

Almost a perfect stay, not much you could improve really.

If you want a pool scene, don't upgrade to Diamond Club, if you want a bit of luxury and slightly more chilled experience, definitely upgrade.

The Diamond Club was definitely worth the upgrade IMO. You get your own pool, the better section of the beach, your own bar area that does food during the day, as well as the butler service. The butlers will basically sort anything out for you - hard to put everything down that they did, but essentially meal reservations, drinks in the room, little extra's.

If I ever came back, I would only ever do the Diamond Club, but that's just a preference.

Food in the restaurants excellent - Hunters and the Japanese restaurants get special mentions. The Italian, not so much.

Buffet was fine and more than good enough as well

Rooms were immaculate

Any UK guests interested in the weather at this time of year, hit and miss with rain showers, we had a couple of full on cloudy days, but apart from that, in two weeks, more than enough sun and nice hot weather - don't worry!

Finally a special mention to two staff members who were absolutely excellent - firstly out butler Fenton, such a nice guy and very professional.

Secondly Toni-Ann, on the vibe team, who was so funny and friendly and down to earth. A real gem and she should be commended by management if they read this.

Overall a really nice first time trip to Jamaica.

Room tip: Room 1002, right next to the diamond club pool and bar, away from the main pool
