Review of Coconut Cottage

Half a century ago, COCONUT COTTAGE was the dream getaway of a young family from Europe. Simple and cozy, Coconut's design was the prototype of a small traditional Jamaican home. Its appealing location on a knoll overlooking the Caribbean Sea remains enchanting.

“Beautiful views, but needs some work”

We just returned from a 6 night stay at Coconut cottage. While the house was nice and the view was beautiful, our group had several issues. There was no hot water in 4 of the 5 rooms the first 2 days we were there. We all had an invasion of ants in the bathrooms. The wifi only worked 2 out of 6 days and only in the main living area, not in your room. The house needs a GOOD cleaning, it was very dusty and did not look as clean as it should, especially with all the white furniture.the wooden doors on all the rooms, had rather flimsy locks, and holes in the doors that people could see into your room. The staff was good. Alan and the chef Lathan were great! The maid staff were not so friendly at all. Overall we made it a great vacation, don't think I would return.
