A very short walk from the Riu Palace Macao across to the water park, free to use for Riu guests. 6 slides there, with no queues even though it was fairly busy. Each slide has a member of staff supervising and telling you when to go.

They’re quite strict about the no jewellery, no wet shoes policies. You’re allowed to have swimwear on that’s pretty much it. Although, my boyfriend was made to wear his swim shorts backwards before they let us in as he had a zipped back pocket on them!

There are toilets, lots of loungers and an area where you can help yourself to drinks from soda machines. There’s a height limit for the slides as they’re mainly for adults and older kids but there is also a separate kids area with mini slides and water features.

Worth a visit if you’re at the Riu and like water slides. We particularly loved the racer slide!

Having stayed at Riu bambu this was only a five minute walk away. Easily accessible for wheelchair users. A small park with 6 slides for adults and a separate child's splash area. Toilets and free drinks on site but never saw any snacks. Walking to the slides can be slippery and hot on the floor. All the slides are fun and no queues at all. Loads of sun lounger available. A great way to spend an hour or two

Visited the water park to see what it was about and it wasn’t anything special. I would say it’s more of a place to go with younger kids rather than as a couple.

There are only about 5 different slides to go on and they aren’t great. The ridges where each bit of the slide connect really hurt when going down the slides.

The Splash is a good sized park for being on a resort property, so you can easily go in for an hour and get some slides in and wave pool without having to take a bus anywhere. The slides are good sized and there are rarely any line-ups.
