What a wonderful place to spend your vacation. The apartment was clean, cozy and safe. The neighborhood is quiet. Supermarkets and beaches are in proximity of the apartment. Parking is possible on the property itself and is safe. We enjoyed our stay. The owner, Karel, is a polite, easygoing man. Next time we'll definitely stay there. Thank you, Karel.
The location was great, had a great time staying at this location, enjoyed our stay and would recommend this housing option to others who are interested
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at advantage apartments Bottelier ! The apartment is very clean and cozy ! Equipped with everything you need ! You have the option to eat inside and in your private patio. The location is perfect very well located and safe, close to shopping restaurants and downtown beaches , supermarket are close by as well .Karel and his wife is are amazing host( Mambo says hi). We definitely recommend his apartments and we will be back for sure.
These is the best place I have stayed in Curacao. The owner (Karl) is a very affable guy (my travel plans were screwed up and he was a lot of help) and he seemed to have gotten almost everything right with these apartments.
The apartments are a bit outside the city center, in what seems to be a rich residential neighbourhood. Having a car is a must (unless you stay in the flat all day). Note that there are two places called “advantage apartments” in Curacao so make sure you go to the right one (unlike me…)
The apartment I had was a one-bedroom – front door led into the bedroom, which had a big, comfortable double bed with good sheets and pillows, reading lights on each side, and a powerful, new a/c. There was enough storage space (closet with hanging space and drawers + a small safe).
Bathroom was OK, Shower had reasonable water pressure and an atmor (electric water heater). There was also a nice porch with a table and chairs and two sun loungers. I understood that there was a pool next door, but I never got round to using it.
The lounge/kitchen was spacious with a high ceiling. The light bulbs need to be replaced with yellow ones (I always travel with spare bulbs...), though during the day a lot of light enters via the sliding glass doors to the porch.
Large flat-screen TV with all inputs, and GOOD cable (lots of US channels) – call me shallow, but I loved this… Internet worked fine.
The kitchen was well equipped – gas range+stove, microwave, filter coffee maker, toaster, large fridge. Enough cutlery and crockery, good selection of utensils, pots and pans and even Tupperware. Enough space to work.
There was a good kitchen table with 4 chairs, and an armchair and a sofa in front of the TV.
When I return to Curacao, this'll definitely be my first choice of places to stay.
On a perfect, safe location with plenty facilities, friendly people and good service. Easy to reach all popular beaches, restaurants and the center of Punda.
