Due too political affairs president of venezuela put embargo on the venezuelan boats that bring fruits vegetable and fish to Curacao. At this moment there are no boats, fruits and vegatable. No FLOATING MARKET after 120year of existance. May be later after president eleccion in april.
Local person will use the market for their products soon.

We enjoyed our walk and time here. There's a nice mix of shopping at all levels from designer names to local merchants. The central dome area offers many local merchants with food, spices, clothing. We didn't buy anything but it looked like negotiating was a norm. We looked for the floating market which is supposed to have fruits/vegs from South America, but it was not in on the day we were there.

There is a lot to see in the shopping district, but if you head toward the outskirts, which is on either side of the main road, you will find some very interesting murals, shops, and fantastic architecture! Get away from the crowds and walk a bit. We hit 30 miles walking on our fitbit tracker from the port to the town. And we missed a ton of stuff!

Fun place to walk around and spend a couple of hours looking around. If driving you will need to pay to park in the local cash currency.

Lots of restaurants and shops here. It can be very crowded when the cruise ships are in town. At the south end of the pontoon bridge.
