We spent a week here in February and loved the hotel. It's clean, pretty, well managed, and very comfortable. It probably has one of the most comfortable beds of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Housekeeping kept the room perfectly clean which is likely a challenge in a dive-themed resort. The hotel is actually beautiful and blends in well with the surrounding area. Our room was quiet which was a big plus.
The desk and office staff were extremely helpful during our stay and even prior to our arrival when we arranged for the free pickup at the airport. There is plenty of free parking which we utilized for our rented truck. The dive shop located onsite was also great because we didn't have to leave the hotel to obtain our Nature Fee permit. The hotel restaurant - lounge was also nice to have available on the days we didn't want to drive around for dinner. At the end of our vacation we didn't want to leave Bonaire and the Courtyard was one of the reasons we wanted to stay longer.

Room tip: Ground floor is probably better

Just got back from Bonaire and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. The hotel was very clean and modern. Service was excellent. Just a few items that could have made our week stay a bit better. They have a lovely pool and hot tub but no where to hang wet bathing suits in the rooms. As we were there for a week (3 adults) we found there was not enough table or counter space to store three large suitcases so we ended up pulling out the ironing board and using that as a surface. In general the room needs more hooks to hang things to get stuff off the floor.
Our daughter is a smoker and we did not have a balcony so this did present a challenge. We did have a small patio on the second level of the building out front and asked if we could get some outdoor chairs placed there so she could smoke. They did accommodate us but would suggest they place some chairs in this space permanently so this lovely little space could be used all the time.
In general Bonaire is a small island and their infrastructure is primitive. I thought I could walk into town however there is no sidewalks and traffic moves very fast on the roads, No street lights so you do not want to be walking at night. All the food was excellent however very expensive. Everything is in American dollars so if you are Canadian you will pay on the exchange as well. Dinner average for 3 adults was around $100 U.S. each night and that's only one meal of the day. The snorkeling and windsurfing are top notch but you will need some form of transportation to get around the island.
The sun is very, very intense so make sure you bring long sleeves and long pants because you will burn fast.
Great holiday overall.

Room tip: Select a room that has a patio

We went to my son's wedding and this was an unforgettable stay.
Love the hotel beautiful and peaceful, clean and with all the comfort you can ask for.
Nice infinity pool (Jacuzzi could be a little hotter though) nice restaurant deli food and the Italian guy serving there was AWESOME as well as Vanessa.

Rooms were impeccable only thing in my room 3212 is that when shower all the water goes outside the shower through the floor please fix that

Last but not least have to mention ALISMAR in reservations who before I got there made me feel at home and with so professionalism and kindness that i needed to ask for her upon arrival to meet her and she went above my expectations 2 thumbs up Ali you are the best !~

Also i have to say thanks to Rina adorable and very helpful to my whole wedding group thanks Rina :) and to Maxine for all her help

Beautiful property with friendly, helpful staff. My significant other and I visited Bonaire after Aruba. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom Villa and loved it! The Villa was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the canal. Simply everything you're looking for when going on vacation. The property has an onsite restaurant which is adequate, but not my first choice (the drinks are excellent). There's also a small store onsite located adjacent to the front desk with snacks, wine and beer. Being that we were on the island during the New Year Holiday we had some difficulty securing a rental car, there simply weren't any cars available on the island. We were in luck, Stefan from the hotel was able to assist us in securing a car. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Thank you Marriott Courtyard and all the wonderful employees for a fabulous vacation! We were so happy to see a Marriott property in Bonaire, our favorite scuba diving island.
The two weeks we spent there were perfect. Maxine, Crystal, Roxy, and Erna were always so helpful at the front desk. The beautiful suite that we were upgraded to was kept clean & tidy by Angela and the morning breakfasts were always well maintained by Jeannie, Alex, and Brian.
This Courtyard was beautiful with all the pastel colors, the layout of the restaurant and pool, the Dive Friends scuba shop on property, and the shuttle service to the local beach & downtown.
One of the best vacations ever!
Congratulations Mr Ruiz for a job well done!
