We debated between hotels with private beaches in Southampton and the Princess in town and we chose wisely. From the Princess we could walk easily to both the ferry and main bus station, which let us explore all over. The hotel's private beach was a free shuttle ride away, and really nice amenities including kayaks and paddle boards to poke around in. Restaurants were expensive, but food was good, and when we went farther afield for food we realized pretty in line with the prices everywhere else. Infinity pool was beautiful, and heated against the March chill. The concierge staff were all really helpful, and gave us great info that made our trip work out perfectly all week, even with a few gray and blustery days. We really enjoyed our trip and felt our hotel choice was great.

I visited this hotel in early March and loved it. The room in the Bermudiana wing was spacious and clean, the staff was more than helpful and housekeeping was excellent. The beach club was beautiful and a nice way to spend the day, unfortunately there were no refreshments available there as I read in a few of the comments prior to my arrival. I'm not sure if this was due to it being the offseason but staying on the beach for a few hours does make you hungry/thirsty!

The Princess has been remodeled and expanded since I last stayed. This time I was in the new wing with a very nice room overlooking the swimming pool and bay. Amenities are what you would expect of a Fairmont managed establishment. Breakfasts are served in the lobby dining area and are plentiful. The hotel is well located for shopping and walking around Hamilton.

Very nice and clean hotel, located on the harbor. Room and bath were very clean and modern. Room came with a refrigerator and coffee maker, cable TV and wi-fi was excellent. Our room had a harbor view that was beautiful. Be prepared to spend alot of money if you eat out at the local restaurants and use the taxi's. The bus is a better alternative. We didn't use the beaches because it was in the 60's and windy with rain. We will next time come back in the warmer season and maybe do the 3 day stay/cruise. The people are very friendly. Everything (stores-restaurants) was within walking distance of the hotel. The caves tour was an inexpensive trip for a few hours and very beautiful. Scooters are everywhere and I didn't rent one for fear of getting into an accident. They drive on the left side and for Americans it will be confusing. From NYC it was only 1.5 hour flight. Did I say that it was expensive. Restaurants automatically add 17% gratuities and a can of Coke is 4$. If you play golf, like to sport fish, you will love it there.

We stayed at the Hamilton Princess for one week. Our family enjoyed it very much. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was courteous. We enjoyed the private shuttle to their private beach. Beautiful view and location. The infinity pool back at the hotel was gorgeous. The food was superb as we dined at Crown and Anchor and went to Marcus' for dinner three times. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is a short walk to the city of Hamilton. This hotel is highly recommended and definitely will stay here again when we visit in the near future! Thank you all for a wonderful holiday!
