“Heavenly”
Reviewed 22 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

As soon as we arrived I knew it was going to be perfect. Far exceeded our expectations. The Romany Wagon is beautiful and has a spacious comfortable bed. The cabin has a treetop veranda, perfect for sitting eating breakfast whilst watching a variety of little birds. The under cover outdoor seating area is a bonus. Here you can relax on the sofa, light a fire and enjoy a bbq.

Our two little dogs loved playing in the stream whilst we sat by the campfire. The most tranquil place I have stayed. Close to coast although you won’t want to be away for too long, although totally relaxing I left feeling I had lived there rather than just a holiday stay.

I can’t recommend this slice of heaven enough.

“An tranquil place to unwind and relax”
Reviewed 18 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at this Romany caravan. It is in a beautiful spot and it was lovely to explore the area again and watch and listen to the birds outside the cabin. The stove in the cabin made it really cosy in the evenings.
Steve was very welcoming and helpful during our stay.

“The BEST birthday present anyone could ask for!”

My husband surprised me for my birthday to this present. When we turned up, we were met by Steve (the owner) who was clearing debris from the river. He came up to us and introduced himself and shook our hands. He is such a friendly, helpful man and left us to ourselves almost immediately. We couldn't wait to explore the caravan and the hut and undercover seating area. We were overwhelmed with the whole experience. There are the luxury parts, such as the power shower and log burner, and the heaters in the caravan which made it so cosy and then the other end, where it was totally back to basics! we loved it! sitting outside with the fire and toasting marshmallows and watching the moon albeit with hats, gloves and scarves on but wouldnt have changed anything for the world. Watching long tailed tits, great tits and woodpeckers right outside the window was the icing on the cake! Would highly recommend if you are the kind of person who would go back to basics (with the added small luxury touch) Thank you Steve and Karyshia

Now you've enjoyed a winter here of course we would love to see you return for " spring, summer or autumn" without the need for your hats, scarves and gloves! Regards Steve and Krysia
