Description: Giannis Ristorante Italiano starts it's story in 1984 when Giovanni and Filomena Ferrara opened their first family owned restaurant in down town Oranjestad, Aruba. As one of the first Italian restaurants in Aruba success was very quick to follow, through the years up to now the family has slowly moved from downtown to the new nightlife area in Palm Beach better known as the strip. Gianni's was the beginning of a family of restaurants across the island, always specializing in extraordinary culinary experiences. Today you can still meet some of the family in Gianni's, the Italian side of the Ferrara family originates from Castellamare di Stabia, a small city on the Napoli Coast in Italy. You can find the menu at Gianni's is geared more around Napoli food but as the years have passed and our customer base has grown, we have extended into other regions of Italy to create a more complete Italian experience for our customers. Gianni's is well known for constantly changing towards modern times and better ingredients, always looking to import the freshest and finest quality ingredients to enhance our customer experience. Our motto has always been; try to find the best, enjoy the best, and share it with our guests.

This place has really, really good pasta and it’s not crazy expensive, either. We actually went here twice on our trip as everyone enjoyed their meal so much.

If considering Italian, This is the best on the Island. The meals we had were absolutely delicious, tasty. The drinks amazing. Passion fruit martini a must try... We ate there 2 days in a row which is unusual for us but we could not resist. Everyone is friendly and looking around what others were having appears you cannot go wrong with what you order. Our waiter Steven & Gabriela were extremely courteous and friendly and attentive. A wonderful experience whether a couples night out or even family dining. Ready to go a 3rd time.. yummmmmm***

If you have a favorite Italian restaurant at home, the food here will not be better. Typical Italian fare at a high end price. However, the ambiance was the best part. Sit outside under the awning in the front of the restaurant. It's spacious, well-decorated, and the live music (guy with a guitar) plays some fun tunes. Great for people watching as well, and the staff/service is excellent.

Everytime we go to Aruba, we go to Gianni’s and its one of our favorite places. We love the Spaghetti Formaggio and the desserts are amazing. Our waitress, Nathalie, was extremely friendly and did a fantastic job. Can’t wait to go back!! If you want a great Italian dinner, make sure you go to Gianni’s!!

So disappointing due to terrible service. A server came to our table for an upsell of water and i chose sparkling water with lemon and lime. I asked 4 times for the fruit which never came. I went to the bar that was right behind my table and received it myself. Entrees came at different times one of which we waited close to 10 minutes for it. Had to ask for ice 3 times and finally my husband got it from the bar. We were never served grated cheese with out pasta entrees but a table next to us was. I asked the server about this and he said they had changed the cheese service and you would have to have dined there before to know to ask for it. Well, i had the guts to ask the couple about the cheese and no they didn't ask for it. We also ordered sauteed vegetables which we never received. Worst place so far for dining on our 4th day of eating out. For $100 for 3 people i feel cheated for they know we don't live here and care if we come back. Yes, we complained and made no difference not even a sorry.
