We loved the whole vibe of this place. I was unsure at first but it only took one sleep to get totally into it.
Sara, the owner was nice and really laid back. She just lets you get on with it.
You have your own terrace at the farmhouse with amazing panoramic views of the countryside. We sat out and had an evening meal here which was really nice and were able to watch a storm approach from the distance. Better than TV.
Having the tv in English was a treat though. We had been travelling around France for two weeks and although I don't watch a lot of television it's sometimes comforting to just sit back at night and watch something for an hour.
We visited a lake called Le Jemaye which was about 20 minutes away. It's a good place for walking or swimming if the weather is nice. We really enjoyed that.
We had only booked 3 nights but ended up asking if we could stay another so that's a good sign. May not be suited to people that dislike animals and wildlife. Luckily we do and found it really funny watching the escapee goats and stripey the cat who seems to be good mates with the chicken.
