We have been made aware of the guesthouse by a colleague. It's a 20-min. drive from te main entrance to Addo Park.
Our room was the "Finfoot". Very spacious with a small front yard. Shampoo and shower products are provided. Air conditioning is available. There wasn't a TV, which didn't bother us at all. Enough time to relax in the beautiful scenic garden. A wonderful place to be and to linger. The view of the distant hills of Addo is magnificent and can be enjoyed with a beer, soda or wine, which you can buy on trust in the lounge.
There is also a pool which was very clean but we did not use it.
The fact that you are surrounded by a beautiful garden and beiing so close to nature can lead to the presence of smaller spiders in the room ;o) (mainly harvestman) but hey, spiders only go to places where it's clean. Our room was very cleaned and timely made every day.
Every room has its own parking space and staff even cleans your car almost every day.
The whole property is fenced and the room key includes the remote for the entrance gate.
Our host Sara has cordially reserved restaurants and organized an unforgettable day-long safari at the Schotia Game Reserve.
The two dogs Oscar and Benson are two loving creatures that do not harm any fly.
An English breakfast is included in the room rate and is absolutely adequate and well prepared.
We had a delightful restful stay and would recommend the Gerald's Gift to anyone. We definitely hope to be able to stay there again sometime!! Thank you for your hospitality.

Room Tip: Finfoot - Spacious room with front patio

We had a great two nights stay at Gerald’s Gift Guest House. The B&B has a very familiar atmosphere and is lovely run by friendly staff. The breakfast was very tasty, the car wash service is a great plus! The garden has spectacular views, the pool is well serviced. It’s a perfect place to start your trips into Addo National Park or Schotia Private Game Reserve. You should be aware that there was no TV in our room if this is important for you.

Lovely stay though a short one where we spent the whole day at the schotia private game reserve. Pillows were great and fluffy. Price is on the high side compared to our other bnb. The breakfast was great and surroundings were calm. Overall, this place is worth the stay.

Upon arrival we felt like we had landed in a small paradise, large garden with beautiful plants and swimming pool in it and two good-natured big dogs, in the backyard two horses and two donkeys. Beautiful place to relax. Our rooms were integrated into the landscape and very well equipped, breakfast was delicious. The only thing that was a pity that the weather was not so good, unfortunately the sun was missing and therefore it was a little bit cold.

Wonderful place to stay during i.e. visit to Addo Elephant Park. Tasty breakfast, very good service. Gerald's Gift has swimming pool and a beautiful garden. It's a place where you can rest and has some kind of Tuscany feeling.
