“One of a kind experience”
Reviewed 5 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

My husband and I along with one other couple stayed at Naujan-et-Postiac over Christmas for a week. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we renewed our vows near Bordeaux. The owner is by far the most professional and responsive of any property we reviewed. She handled every detail with care and we felt gave us her full attention even though we arrived Christmas day and it was the holiday season. The property is beautiful, the kitchen a real plus if you enjoy cooking. Most spectacular of all, and being winter we could not use it but could certainly explore is the pool. I promise you this pool is more than an amenity, its a discovery. All of our friends, local and from abroad were amazed as its actually built into a quarry. Stunningly beautiful, the owners have a great sense of style and design.TIPS FOR PROPERTY AND REGION: The kitchen stone steps (watch out for the last step) hard to see and can be missed. Check wifi and phone is plugged in and operational while checking in - its all fine but a bit more complicated at the start then we knew and can save everyone time. House is remotely located, not a problem at all, but a consideration. Overall, a great property.

“Excellent”
Reviewed 1 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Seven members of our family aged 77 years to 23 years recently spent a week of utter delight in this beautiful place. The house itself was a mixture of aged creamy stone with a modernised interior preserving an immense feeling of the love and care given to their home by its owners.
There is a marvellous huge kitchen. The grassed garden area is extensive with room to use the comprehensive games equipment, table tennis, archery, darts etc.
There is an outdoor dining area plus a separate excellent barbecue equipped with tables and chairs.
The icing on the cake is the superb floodlit outdoor swimming pool set in a magical quarried area with huge creamy blocks of stone providing sunbathing and architectural delight.
We also enjoyed the neighbour's pets visiting.
The whole undulating grape-growing countryside was scattered with delightful villages, churches, abbeys and towns, including St Emilion, St Macaire and Bazas. We were surprisingly only 45 minutes drive from the lively stylish city of Bordeaux and about 60 odd kilometres to Arcachon on the Atlantic Coast.
A wonderful, wonderful holiday. What more can we say. Jean, John, Lisa, Han, Jack, John and Jane

Management Response
20 Oct 2013
This was the first time we've had an issue with cleanliness and I took it very seriously. Guest contacted me on a Sunday morning to report that only problem with 360sq meters home was the condition of the oven. I offered to either use the self cleaning function or have cleaning service come on Monday morning. I also immediately informed guest that I would waive the 100€ final cleaning fee as an apology.
From first contact with client, 28 emails were exchanged plus several phone calls. I have a multilingual caretaker living next door to answer any queries promptly and I take cleanliness and service very seriously.
