the bothy is a truly lovely, spacious property equipped with everything one needs.
we enjoyed our week so much that we returned in october for a further week with some friends who have a small child. they too raved about the bothy.

“One of the best rentals I have stayed in”

I can honesty say this is one of the most comfortable and well equipped rental homes I have ever stayed in ( and there have been many both in UK and internationally). As others have stated it is spotlessly clean and the beds are huge and so comfortable with quality linen. The kitchen is superbly equipped , again with quality saucepans, loads of plates, glasses etc. Wonderful .
TVS everywhere and Sky too.
I also have to say that when I was booking to take my 90 year old mum away and asked about accessibility, John suggested we rent the Bothy due to the ground floor bedroom. It was perfect . it took so much pressure off me worrying and perfect for my mum who could access everything including the shower.
In addition , as it snowed badly the day we were due to arrive ,John allowed us to come a day later at no extra charge. We were warmly welcomed and it has been lovely.I will certainly return with more of the family .

“Wonderful cottage in a great location”

This was our second stay in the Bothy. It really is a fantastic place to stay with everything you need and so cosy. The owners are always on hand if needed and so helpful. Our little boy loved feeding the animals and listening to the pig snore at night. We all love this cottage and had a relaxing stay once again.

“Perfect for a famly holiday”

Lovely accommodation in an equally lovely village. Very well equipped and perfect for our 3 generation family holiday.
The Bothy is exactly as it appears in the pictures and description, which is not always the case.
The kitchen is so well equipped that the cupboards are all full therefore there was not much room for food etc Could do with an empty cupboard,/larder space. Admittedly my wife took so much food she must have thought there were no shops in Dorset!
One negative is that the pig snores. (Its takes as day or two to work out what the noise is)
