“Another wonderful Stay”
Reviewed 7 January 2013 for a stay in December 2012

This was our second stay at The Bothy, and believe me you could not ask for a better holiday cottage.
Having a disabled mother-in-law the downstairs en suite bedroom is a great asset, and the two other double en suite bedrooms have their own staircases at opposite ends of the property, so privacy is maintained when sharing with friends.
The new large flat screen TV in the lounge was very welcome, with a perfect picture on all channels which is more than can be said for some of the properties we have stayed in!
The owners who have provided just about every convenience you will need are very friendly and helpful, but also leave you to your selves too.
The grounds of the property, (which unfortunately we have only seen in winter) are a delight, with tame sheep, goats and pigs to entertain you! I am sure this would be wonderful for children in the summer.
We shall definitely be returning to this well kept, warm, spacious, and above all spotless holiday cottage in the future.

Liked least: Originally, the property was listed at a discounted rate, but this discount vanished between my enquiring about the property and receiving an answer and we did not get the advertised rate. However, the property was still very good value .

“Wounderfull week in the Bothy”
Reviewed 16 October 2012 for a stay in October 2012

The location is perfect, with plenty of nice places to visit.
Our week spent in the Bothy was excellent, we were a family of six plus a five month baby 'WILLIAM' and a dog called Bailey. All bedrooms were a good size and all with ensuite which is very hard to get.
We had a very warm welcome and nothing was to much trouble, a very nice stay and would highly recommend to anybody.
Thank you both very much and we hope to see soon.
