Nice walk along the river, not too many people, we arrived at 9:30. 7 year was able to do it with no complaining. Would recommend to families. We strayed off the walkway to a path along the trail which then takes you right back to the path but less people walking there.
Enjoyed a nice hike one afternoon in the park. We walked as far as the path led before it was time to cross the river and head into The Narrows. Next time I will definitely plan to hike into the canyon.
This is a beautiful Trail but there were so many people on it that it lost a lot of it's beauty. We did not go all the way to the Narrows as we were advised by a ranger to not get into the water because of the dangerous algae, but many people were coming back obviously wet. They discovered it when a dog drank from the water and died.
Caught the first shuttle of the morning to the end of the line and basically just strolled from one end to the other. Gentle and peaceful walk. The fall colors coming in and the river was gurgling along. An easy trail, most of it you could take a stroller on. Probably the best walk I took in the park.
Fourth time to the park and trail. Like the walk, but it seems shorter than before. Go to the restroom before the hike.
