Owner description: The most popular hike in the park because of its ease and scenery.

The park avenue trail was the first place we stopped after entering the park. There is a scenic overview area where you can view the area, so you don’t have to hike the trail if you don’t want to. The hike is about a mile and the only difficult part was the uphill steps hiking back to the parking lot. It’s easy to see why early explorers compared the surroundings here to skyscrapers. This trail is amazing and I would highly recommend...5 ⭐️’s.

This is another impressive view. You will drive by this so this will be a recommended stop. The whole trail is about 1 mile one way, but you can just do about 100 feet and get great views. There is no restrooms at this stop.

Right off the parking lot, this gorgeous fin formations are just amazing to see. You can go down into the canyon for a 1 mile hike but unless you have someone meet you at the end, you need to turn around. Just amazing geology!

You will definitely see how it got it's name. Try to plan your trip so you can view it as you enter and then again and exit the park.

This was our least favorite hike in the park, not because it wasn't beautiful, it was just that we thought the view from the trailhead was the highlight of the hike. It also didn't help that we were there around 3PM when there was almost no shade present. I believe it would be much better to hike early in the morning or in the evening when the sun is lower in the sky and the rock formations would throw shadows to allow for some shade. It still is a beautiful view and I would definitely stop there. I got some gorgeous pictures.
