We had planned to stay 3 nights in the 'town house' which is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable with a lovely view over the Kariega River mouth. Breakfast in the 'house kitchen' was included which was delightful. Unfortunately we had to leave at 3 a.m. on the 2nd night as the fires in Plettenberg Bay, where we live, were threatening our home. But we'll be back soon!!

The property is new with modern conveniences and very comfortable furniture. It stands alone, with you having to register at the shop/restaurant next door. Because of its location and design, you find yourself locking and unlocking doors all the time. I thought it would be noisy, but it wasn't. The location is to the right of the 'business district', leading to the impression that the B&B is illogically located, yet because the town is quiet, it works well with a short walk to the shops and an easy walk to the beach.

Kenton-On-Sea is one of our favourite South African beach holiday destinations. It's a town that has been missing modern, good quality accommodation so discovering The House Quarters was a great find!

We spent 9 nights in The Penthouse in The House Quarters which has spectacular views down to the Kariega mouth and Main Beach and is very comfortably appointed. Great finishes, modern and clean. Very comfortable for a family of 4.

Staff at The House Quarters and adjoining House Planner (restaurant) were excellent... they could not have been more helpful if they tried. Good old fashioned Eastern Cape hospitality is the best way to describe this family run establishment. The care they put into making your stay comfortable is certainly a product of the owner-managed business. One of the highlights was Adrian, one of the owners, taking our family up river to do some fishing one afternoon. All staff really attentive and took real care and interest in making our stay fabulous.

Breakfast is included at The House Planner as part of the package which really was a bonus - good food with stunning views over Kenton on Sea.

Being close to the centre of town made popping out for groceries, etc really convenient.

Definitely a little gem in this gorgeous location. We will definitely go back!!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights over Easter as we had friends that were there at the same time. We found the hotel online and it was lovely! Stayed in the TownHouse room - immaculately presented and incredibly comfortable! The view was also stunning.

Food at the restaurant was delicious, and while adjusting to the fact that it's a restaurant used by others and you're ordering from a broader menu, it was very easy to overcome when a table is ready an waiting in prime position and the food choices look and taste great.

Glad we stayed here, would recommend, and will return!
