Been visiting for a a while now, and things just keep getting better. The food and choice of ales is consistently good. Had to mention our recent visit for Sunday lunch, walked in through the side and loving the use of reclaimed pallets as flower planters (should have taken a photo).

Had a quick beer in the garden before moving inside for lunch, service was extremely friendly and efficient (special mention to Tom for being the prefect host). Food came out in good time and didn’t disappoint, even though it was extremely busy.

Can’t wait to return. Keep up the good work guys.

As always The Royal Oak never fails to deliver.
Lunch as always was excellent with a good selection to choose from.
Staff are always friendly and I’m assured the beer is good too!

On a very hurried journey from BHX to Gloucester we made a detour for this pub and arrived in the middle of the Prestbury Fayre. However pub was not packed and service was very efficient. The interior and decor were lovely, so very English. We had fish and chips and toad in the hole, the latter being the better of the two dishes. We also had a glass and a half of the ale which was really nice. All in all a great pit-stop.

We'd heard great things about the Royal Oak Inns annual beer festival and had the pleasure of trying it out for ourselves this year.
A real great range of beers and ciders (for the wife) enjoyed out in their lovely beer garden.
After a few drinks in the sun we ordered a sausage platter which was any sausage lovers (me) dream.
We'll be back very soon to try the main restaurant in the evening
