This is a truly amazing place to stay, dog friendly, private access to dunes and beach.
With fabulous sea view.

Cosy living accommodation very clean and the little touches are lovely.

“Location, location, location!”

My husband, daughter, golden retriever (Daisy), blue Merle collie (Merlin) and myself have just returned from 3 wonderful days at Poppylands.
After some initial concern as we wound our way slowly past numerous holiday chalets and a nearby sign saying to keep animals out as poison was used, all worries faded, never to return as we arrived at Poppylands and explored the safe and secluded gardens, spotless accommodation and extremely comfortable bungalow fully equipped, indeed containing more than you would expect (I brought many items that came back unused including soap, washing liquid, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, cleaning materials, sauces, salt, vinegar, tea, sugar, coffee etc etc). The furniture was all very clean and comfortable. My husband was overjoyed at the large tv and after unloading proceeded to sit and watch the rugby between England and Scotland! We all so appreciated the wonderful views and I found myself relaxing very quickly and quite happy just to sit and watch the birds swooping and hear nothing except bird song, the wind and distant waves. Above all else was the luxury of being able to walk down the garden and out directly onto the dunes leading to that wonderful beach. The dogs absolutely adored it and all the other beaches we discovered -all so clean with simply stunning expanses of sand and crashing waves.
A truly wonderful short break - we cannot recommend it too highly, sincere thanks to the owners.

Just back from wonderful week at Poppylands. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Lovely comfy settees and a 'proper' size tv - not something every holiday accommodation offers. Would recommend to anyone with dogs who likes walking, excellent location.

“Dog paradise!”

The location of this cottage is amazing. Our dogs absolutely loved it. The enclosed garden is a decent size but the real 'wow' factor is the ability to walk straight from the garden onto the sand dunes and beach.
The cottage itself was nice and warm with everything you could need.

It was a wrench to come home. No idea about the surrounding area as didn't leave the cottage all weekend except to walk along the beach!

“Peaceful location”

We had a brilliant week in this chalet, taking two border collies with us. The location was the best for us as the garden is completely enclosed front and back, ideal for the dogs. The view over Winterton Valley and the sea is very restful, with lovely long walks in both directions from the steps at the rear of the garden. Plenty of immenieties in the chalet, not just basics, but would be nice to have a bottle of wine and a few other small things for guests on arrival !
We liked it so much we are returning next year.
